Now that November was approaching and fast a lot of kids were wearing coats and jackets. This was my favorite time of year only for one reason and that was Halloween of course. John and I had decided to go to a party together tonight. The kids from school were throwing a little bonfire party instead of the whole Halloween thing.
John and I pulled up to the address in his car. We got up to the door, as I pulled John's jacket tighter on my body. He looked down at me and smiled. The smoke was apparent from the backyard, and the loud music made the ground practically feel like it was vibrating."Hey, guys the partys around here." A kid I was pretty sure was named Tyler from school peered over the side gate. John and I made our way around the house.
John stopped me before we could get to the backyard. "Listen Tiffany can I ask you something?"

"Uhhh sure." I wondered if Cece had shown him the picture of Matt and I kissing.
"Are we.... ok?"
I took a breathe of relief. "Yes." I wrapped my hands around him. "Of course, why wouldn't we be."
He paused for a minute. "Its just that... you seem kinda..... distant. Like lately you've been distracted." He looked cute when he was trying to think of things to say. I grabbed him and pulled him in for a kiss, and again I saw a passion shade of red.
"Sorry I've just had a lot on my mind lately." I smiled, another lie. I was telling lies right and left, I was scared cause even I believed in this Zach character I created.
He broke the silence between us. "Now come on." He smiled. He held my hand as we went into the back. It was lit. They had a huge cackling fire pit in the back with a few chairs lined around it. There were a bunch of kids I've seen around school walking, talking and drinking with their friends in the massive yard, and a few people I've never seen. There had even been a small DJ tent in one corner of the yard, next to the snack table.
That's my spot😍. I made my way over to the snack stable while John was chatting with a few guys he saw that he knew. I plucked a marshmallow and ate it. Someone came up behind me and shielded my eyes. "Guess who?"I giggled, and took a swig at it, "John?" I turned to face him. Coming face first with Matt.
"Matt. What are you doing here?" I looked at my boyfriend who was busy talking.
"My friend dragged me out of the house, but if I knew you would be here, I would've ran down here." He said backing me against the table of food.
"No, no, no." I shoved a marshmellow in his mouth. "I'm here with my boyfriend." I folded my arms. His face twisted a bit.
"Oh." He looked hurt which seemed to be what I did to him a lot. "Well which one is he?" He sat up straighter.
