I looked at my phone on the front facing camera. I was checking myself out for the hundredths time. I was sitting at the diner booth by myself. My date said he'd meet me here at 7:00 it was now 7:45 now.
I had dressed and redressed myself six times, finally I decided on a nice black dress, kimono, and a pair of black wedges. A waitress came by for the third time, this time she placed a hand on my shoulder "He's not coming sweetheart."
She grabbed my empty milkshake cup and walked back to the kitchen. I looked at my phone and my date's tinder profile. John.I got up from the booth to leave after putting down a five for the shake. I headed towards the exit and a guy stepped in before I could leave. He was in ripped jeans and a black hoodie.
"Hey are you Tiffany?" He smiled. My heart did a back flip in my chest, I nodded cause I was afraid if I said something I'd stutter and sound stupid. He was a head taller than me.
"Well you look nice but this is only where our date starts." He said with a smirk.
"What do you mean?" I sounded confused and I was. What does he mean by that. I gave him a strange look.
"So what will we be doing?" I asked.🤔
His smile grew wider. Ok if he smiles one more time I'm gonna be freaked out. He grabs my wrist and we get inside his car. I'm expecting him to pounce on top of me like an annoying bug but he says something else.
"Truth or dare?"
I give him a bewildered look
