It was time to put my plan in motion. Operation take down Cece was a go. I had to find a way to get to the files in the Principal's office. And what better way to get in than to get into trouble.
"You wait here, Mr. Calvin will be back in a few to talk to you." The lady from the office guided me over to a waiting area.
In order to get here I had to cause a bit of a bang, one big enough to get me in trouble and one small enough to not get suspended. So I had to exchange a few 'not so good' words with the dean and bam I'm here. I took a seat. I hadn't been here since the time my friends and I had all sneaked out of class to see what skipping was like.
The first part of my plan was a success I called Mr. Calvin, the principal's phone and told him that Mrs. Calvin his wife was having her baby. Harsh but had to be done. Now it was just getting Janice the secretary out so I can get into his office. She looked up from her computer on her desk, and gave me a judging look. Bitch. I walked over to her desk. "Um excuse me, do you mind if I step in the hall for a sec, I'll be right back I swear."
She licked her teeth smudging her red lipstick on her tooth. "And what exactly do you need out there?"
I cringed. "Well I just needed a drink, ya know." I pretend coughed. She squinted. "The uh doctor sorta suggested I get alot of water."
"The doctor?" She slightly moved back in her chair, showing she didn't want whatever 'disease' I had.
"Yeah, its this really bad throat thing that could get highly contagious if I don't properly take care of it." I smirked. She waved for me to get out, with a disgusted look. I walked into the hall and looked to see if the hall was clear, then pulled out my phone. I dialed the school number.
I heard the phone in the office ring. Once. Twice. "Hello S.T.E.M. high school." I heard Janice's fake upbeat voice. I tried disguising my voice to sound like a man's."Hello may I speak to Janice Wellborogh." I lowered my voice.
"Speaking."
"Hello Janice. I'm from ummm..... Hugh's towing Company on Dumner Ave. we've towed your car and we have it here at the lot waiting for pick up."
"M-my car? You towed my car?" She sounded upset.
"Yes ma'am. So when can you pick it up."
"It was parked in the school parking lot. Why did you guys tow it?" She was now shouting into the phone. I walked over and hid around the corner of the hall.
"We towed it because it was parked in a resevered space."
"Reserved space?" She was quiet for a bit, I could hear her angry breathing. "I know, it must've been that damn stingey Ms. Wheeler." She said talking about the ninth grade English teacher. "I'm gonna reserve an ass kicking just for you towing my car, I'm on my way ass wipe." She hung up and I could hear her storm out of the office.
I quickly made my way into the now empty office. Now for the keys to Mr. Calvin's office, I had to move fast before she realized her car was still where she left it. I made my way to her desk and swiped the keys off her desk. I quickly unlocked the principal's office and put them back. His office was a bit different from when I was last here. He had a desk and a couple of chairs on the other side so he could sit and scold the delinquents while sitting in his office chair. Which looked hella comfortable. A few papers and a huge book sat on the desk.
Pictures of his family sat on his desk too. And the big locked file cabinet sat right behind the desk. But theres one problem, it was a combination lock! Shit. But wait he'd still need to write it down right? Ok good. Now time to search for the combination to unlock it. I searched through the piles of papers on his desk. Nothing. Maybe the drawers. I went through each drawer finding nothing but paperclips, pens and even a drawer full of Payday candy bar wrappers. Ok if I were a principal where would I write something as important as unlocking student information? Somewhere students wouldn't look. I scanned the room and stopped at the huge book on the desk it was just a 'dress code and discipline' guide book. Bleh! Even his reading is boring.Than it hit me.
The one place a student would never look. I open the book and on the front page was four numbers, 1125 under the word files. Yes bitch! I quickly put in the combo and opened the drawer. Now for Cece's file. I shuffled through the names.
Aaron Bryers...
Aydon Louinsky...
Bailey Hitcher...
Bonitiqua Jones...😒
Aha Cece Wynn. I yanked it out quick and got to reading 👀. The first thing I noticed was her 'last school' space was empty, so did this bitch pop up outta nowhere like a rabbit out of a magician's hat? I kept reading. She's 17 born in June. I looked through it and saw that the space for parent signature was empty but the only number for parent/guardian contact info was just a number to call and that was it.
Well let's meet Cece's mom. I pulled out my phone and dialed up the number. It rang a couple times. "Hi this is IFTG how may I help you?"I should've known she gave a random ass number. "Oh sorry I wanted to talk to Cece Wynn's parents but I guess I have the wrong number." I was about to hang up but she quickly answered.
"Cece Wynn? Did you say Cece Wynn?"
"Uh... yeah. You know her?"
"Yes well sort of. Cece isn't her actual name." She sighed.
"What?"
"Her name is Talia, she used to be here. Cece is like her... alter ego you could say."
"What?" I said my mouth open from shock.
"What is your name dear?" She asked.
"Aneika."
"Listen and listen carefully Aneika, you must stay away from Ce- Talia."
"Stay away from her, why?" I was starting to get scared.
"She isn't right in the mind. She stayed here for a while and she was let go do to vast improvement but when she uses... that name, Cece. She isn't up to good. I want you to save this number and if anything seems off call me." Her voice was intense. "Talia is dangerous stay away and DO NOT allow her to become attached to you."
"Oh o-okay." I stuttered barely standing on my own to feet. I feel like I'm in a life time movie. I quickly copied the number and stuck it in my back pocket.
"Stay safe."
"Wait." I piped up. "What is that place, are you her mother?"
"Mother, no. And this is no happy place. I handle girls like her everyday
... This is the Institute For Troubled Girls."********
Bitch is crazy!!!
