It was 'that' time of the year again. The time in fall that every kid from k-12 couldn't bare, school. And this was our junior year. By 'our' I mean my friends and I. We promised each other that this year was gonna be ours. We were gonna waltz in to that building and slay us up some boyfriends except Aneika that it.
In S.T.E.M high school there was a little of everything for everyone. I mean my friends and I are so different and so much alike, from Zailie the aspiring model, Tiffany the full spirited indie photographer, Me the gay future artist, and Aneika the ill mannored chef. We were each different but alike in the ways of our friendship.

"Hey gurl!" I hollered at my friend Z (Zailie) as I hoped off the bus and into the parade of kids waiting to go inside. She looked up from her mirror, she stay checking herself out.

She hugged me, finally realizing she and that mirror were surrounded by people. Zailie was the 'it' girl at S.T.E.M. high and if anybody had a reputation to uphold it was her. She had boys lined up to be with her and she knew what she was doing too. She had them wrapped around her pinky finger.
"Hey, I missed you!" She said. A few guys standing behind her answered

"No, not y'all." She rolled her eyes at them and they went back to their conversation. "They still have us waiting outside like a flock of birds." She finished.
I know it was too hot for this. It was the type of weather to give someone a headache, make people tired, and make a grown women take her wig off. "I know this too much." Someone put their palm over my eyes from behind me. "Guess who?" I heard.

"If you not Beyonce with an ice tea and a fan go away." I mumble.

Tiffany stepped out from behind me, we hugged each other hello. "No Beyonce, or iced tea but I am your biggest fan." She said Awwe😢👌. She so nice. Tiffany was my best friend she has a hipster indie vibe, but a lot of people just mistaken her for a goth. Which isn't the case. She took out her Polaroid camera and aimed it towards us. I posed as usual.
