☠Alec's POV☠
I wake on the morning of Riley's seventeenth birthday ecstatic about today. Her mom finally agreed to my present and I got it, overjoyed with excitement to see her open. I've got a awesome evening planned out and I know she'll love it, I dress quickly in the jeans Riley bought me for my birthday, I wear the same cologne that I usually only wear for special occasions. I rushed out the door and on my motorcycle to go he a few things for tonight. I rush into the supermarket, "Hello?" I ask as the phone rings,
"Hi," Riley says
"Happy birthday!" I shout into the phone
"Thanks," she says
"No problem,"
"Are you giving me a ride?" She asks, I check the time,
"Ohw no can do sorry babe," I say then hand some money to the cashier, grab the bags and hand them to my mom who rushed them to her car and out to work.
"Oh okay I'll just drive," Riley says then hangs up. I hop on the bike and drive to the school, I grab some of the tape and the bug shinny sign I bought. I hang it above the entrance, I stand with flowers in the middle beneath the sign. I watch as cars start to pull up their expression I don't watch because I only care about hers. I see Sarah's mom's car pull up and double check my outfit. Exposure is what she hates.

Sarah pulled into the schools parking lot and I undid my seatbelt, "And here we are, happy birthday," Jess says again for the umpteenth time. I push open the door, straighten out my turquoise skirt and black top that has lace at the top. I look around to see kids pointing and smiling girls with excited jealous looks on their faces I look towards the front of the school and gasp. He didn't, as if reading my thoughts e shouts, "I did!" A banner that says happy birthday Riley hangs on the front entrance and below that in the centre stands Alec with four white roses and one red. I grasp my bag and slowly walk towards him, "Happy Seventeenth Birthday Riley," Alec says wrapping me in a hug and kissing my cheek, I smile and he hands me the roses.
I punch him with my free hand and he runs it,
"Ow what was that for?" He asks
"This," I say pointing to the banner I grab his hand and pull him into the building with me. He smiles and is so happy, I am so happy and can't believe he did this. I so hate him right now. The day is a stressful day of people saying happy birthday and how they love my boyfriend at lunch Alec had arranged a special cafeteria lunch for me and a dance party where people started to clink their glasses and we had to kiss. Now I was being taken home to change into something nice, Alec said we had a couple a hours before his next surprise. "I so hate you right now," I said as I pushed in the doorway, "Mom?" I gasped as I saw her with bags of groceries on the counter, "Riley," mom said the kids rushed up to me,
"Riwey's birfday! Riwey's birfday!" Ava sang
"Happy birthday," Mark said again, Ava hung off my leg
"Mom what are you doing home so early?" I asked
"I thought it would be nice and my work allowed me too," she said
"Oh," I said,
"Riley I'm just going to go home and hang out for a bit see you in awhile?" Alec asked
"Sure," I said he gave me a quick peck,
"Riwey?" Ava started I talk to her for a bit as mom and the kids grabbed their presents for me. I was sitting at the island waiting for Ava to find hers, "Aha!" She shouted grabbing a shoe box and placing it in front of me.
