“OH…MY…GOODNESS!” Bellowed Amy in disbelief, she looked back at the computer screen making sure she wasn’t dreaming. She had received an e-mail from The Wanted and it read:
                              Hello Amy,

The high pitched scream startled Milly and Kate who automatically ran to Amy’s room with concern.
“What is it? What’s happened?” Questioned Milly in concern, grabbing Amy’s shoulders and looking into her eyes for any form of emotion or an idea of the cause of this outrageous reaction. Happiness. Joy. Excitement. These were not what Milly was expecting and began to rethink what the reason could be.
“We’ve won! We are meeting The Wanted in 5 days!” Replied Amy, intrigued to find out how the others would react.
“OH…MY…GOODNESS!” Milly and Kate exclaimed in unison, joyfulness and exhilaration beginning to show in their eyes, Amy began to laugh in reply to their similar, priceless reaction. As usual, within seconds of this announcement, Kate had already begun planning what we were going to wear, transport, what we are going to say and how we were going to act. It was her expertise.
The picture then abruptly changed to three hours before they went backstage for their meet and greet and the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and pleasure. The three girls were all prepared and organised. Milly had made the dresses that the girls wore. This was her expertise; she had very steady hands to add the most incredible detail and decoration to them, making them look spectacular. It looked as if a fashion designer had made them for us. Amy was wearing a midnight blue silk dress that gracefully flowed to her feet, with black high heels that added a couple of inches to her height, meaning she would be the right height for Jay. Her hair was curled, with silver accessories clipping some parts back, as she walked it moved elegantly like a spring.
Kate was also wearing a midnight blue silk dress except it only flowed to her knees and on her feet she also wore black high heels too. She also had her hair curled which flowed like silky ribbons through the air.
Finally Milly wore a dark purple dress which also flowed to her knees, the small diamantes shone like the midday sunshine in the lit up living room. She also wore black heels, these were our special items that brought our friendship together, that linked us to one another portraying what we have in common. We always wore them as they were our favourite piece of clothing. Milly had also curled her hair adding small accessories into it to making herself sparkle and shine. Kate and Amy had always been jealous of her hair, it was a unique colour, a blend of brown and blonde, shining like a million crystals in the moonlight. It flowed to her shoulders, curling elegantly at the ends. As she walked it danced around in the breeze but never seems to lose its place.
Then the picture all of a sudden changed again to just before we were about to go backstage, Kate began to experience the feelings of nerves, and butterflies in the stomach all over again. Kate grabbed her stomach in pain.
“I cannot believe this is actually happening it feels so surreal” Milly exclaimed beaming with excitement. We were minutes away from meeting the boys in person and we were beginning to feel the nerves and panic, Kate in particular. Kate was now sat on the floor, white as a sheet of paper, her eyes closed. “Are you alright Kate?”
“Yes… just feel a bit sick that’s all” She replied quietly struggling to open her eyes, she was beginning to feel very nervous now and was hoping that these minutes would pass by quicker to relieve her of her nerves. Amy sat down next to her and placed her arms around her, comforting her.
“You will be fine, don’t worry as soon as you get in there with Nathan you will forget completely about the nerves… I promise” Reassured Amy, holding her in her arms. At the sound of Nathan’s name colour rushed to Kate’s cheeks and a smile spread across her face. She got up and successfully attempted to think of something different to take away the feelings of worry and nerves.
