I woke up staring at a white room. There was a medical beep, and I turned to see the line going up and down in time with my heart beat. I had an earsplitting headache. My right forearm was red and bruised under all of the bandages. My back felt like it was on fire. I felt dizzy, and wondered how I got all of these injuries. As soon as I thought that the doctor walked in looking at a clipboard.
"Hello Sylvia. How are you feeling?" She smiled like I wasn't bruised. I hated that about doctors.
"Dizzy. This headache isn't helping either. My back is killing me too. Mostly, I just feel like crap," I was in no mood to deal with doctors, and just wanted to go home, "How did all this happen to me?"
"Your mother said that she heard a crash, and when she walked in you were passed out. You fainted, and fell on top of your desk. Your desk collapsed on you. The reason your back hurts is because a few picture frames shattered, and cut your back up pretty bad. Luckily, you only needed a few stiches. You will be ok, though. I will send you home in a few minutes. Your mother just needs to finish up the paper work." As soon as she left Rachael burst into the room.
"Sylvia what happened to you?" Her eyes were red and puffy. I don't know why she cried, but she had always been emotional.
"I really don't know I was reading a note from," I stopped myself before I said Tommy. I don't think this is the best time for that, "someone, and I just passed out. I don't know why."
"Do you have any idea what the note said?"
"No I don't even remember what it said." I hated lying to her, but I had this feeling that it's not the right time to tell her.
"We couldn't find a note. Anyway, why would you pass out from a note?" She didn't even look like she was talking to me. She was rambling on about something, but I tuned her out. This all seemed like it was planned. I mean I finally get to hear the truth, and then when I find out that Tommy is still alive he sends me a note. I am starting to think that Aunt Lucia had something to do with it.
The doctor came back in, and told me I am free to go. I went to change back into my clothes, and caught a look of myself in a mirror. I had a few scratches on my face that would be a little difficult to conceal. My eyes were a little puffy, but that won't be a problem. Overall, I didn't look half bad. I could go to school tomorrow, and not worry about people staring. Also, I had to tell Hadley and Greg that I am moving. Tomorrow is going to suck.

I got up the next morning, and stood in the shower. I was not in a good mood. Hadley is going to get all dramatic, and Greg is going to try to be tough, but will cry a little. I wasn't looking forward to it.
Rachael drove us to school today since I didn't feel like it. We drove in silence, and I stared out of the window. I didn't want to dress up today, and wore a green V neck T-shirt, and a pair of faded blue jeans. My hair was in a ponytail, and I wore no makeup. I didn't want it to get ruined when I cried.
"Are you going to tell Hadley and Greg about the move today?" Rachael pulled me back to the real world, and gave me a half smile.
"Yeah are you telling Mackenzie?"
"I guess. I don't want to, but I don't think either one of us wants to tell our best friends that we are moving to Montana.
I spun around, "What! We are moving to Montana! When did you figure that out?"
