"I don't know how to do this Rachael. What if something bad happens?" I nervously rubbed my hands together.
Rachael put her hand on my arm, "Listen to me Sylvia, nothing bad is going to happen. It is a simple request. Just do it."
I sighed, and before I could change my mind... I pressed the dial button, and called Mason.
"Sylvia! Where are you? Everyone is freaking out. Jasper has been hysterical all morning," Mason answered.
"I'm sorry I somehow transported myself to my home in the US. Actually I need your help. We are performing a spell, and for it to work we need someone of royal blood. Could you maybe transport yourself here, but don't bring any guards," I said.
Mason replied, "What spell are you trying to cast?"
"Please don't ask any questions Mason. Just trust me ok?" I said.
Mason sighed, "Ok I'm on my way just don't move, or transporting will be difficult."
I smiled, "Ok. Thank you so much Mason." I hung up the phone, and looked over at Rachael.
She raised her eyebrows, "Girl you are head over heels right now."
My jaw dropped, "No. There is no way I like Mason. He is the brother of my fiancé for crying out loud!" I could feel myself blush from the lie.
Rachael shrugged her shoulders, "Hey no need to get all defensive Miss Protests-to-much." Rachael laughed, and walked into the living room where our mother was setting up the things we need for the spell.
A flash of white light came from behind me, and when I turned around I was suffocated from the hug that Mason gave me.
"I was so worried about you Sylvia. I thought someone had come, and stolen you."
I squeezed his back, "I'm alright I promise. I guess I transported myself in my sleep or something. We need to hurry, and do the spell before anyone starts to freak out that both of us are missing.
Mason pulled away and smiled, "Ok, but I will admit I love the costume change."
I looked down at my outfit. I was wearing a floor length, flowy, white gown. The one sleeve was to my elbow and hung down a little bit. It had a scooped neckline, and right above the neckline I wore a dark green amulet made of emerald. It reminded me of a Greek goddesses outfit.
I blushed, "It is typical summoning attire. Tell me you haven't seen someone wear something like this before."
He laughed, "No I have not." He gave me an award winning smile that made my stomach flutter.
Before I could come up with any answer at all my mother walked in, "Oh good he's here. We need to hurry, or Melinda is never going to come to us." She put her hand on my back, and led me into the living room that had been turned into a full on spell room. The blinds were closed so the only light came from the candles around the room. All of the furniture was out of the room, and in the center of the room was a circle of candles with four pillows around it. Rachael was sitting on one, and was already in a deep meditation.
My mother put a hand on my arm, "I need you to sit on Rachael's right, and Mason you sit next to Sylvia. I need you all to go into a deep meditation, and think about nothing but the prophecy, and anything that has to do with the prophecy." I nodded, and sat down on the pillow. I closed my eyes, and thought about the prophecy. I thought about meeting Mason and Veronica when I first learned of the prophecy. I thought about my troubles with Delaney in the beginning. I thought of my brother, and the sacrifice he made for me and Rachael. I thought about my guardians that confused me on who they really are. Finally, I thought of my father, and the way he died just because he denied the prophecy.
