We spent the rest of the day trying to come up with a plan, but sadly couldn't agree on a plan. All of our plans had loopholes in them. Finally, we decided that I would go back to the palace, and come out of my room. I would say that I realized I needed my family with me. I would bring Mother, Aunt Lucia, and Rachael to stay with me, and Charlie would pop in and out so no one knew he had escaped. Just as I got in position to be transported Charlie stopped me.
"Listen to me. You can't take off that necklace the entire time you are there. If you do you will still be able to have your powers don't worry, but it is a protection charm as well. It will help you see the lies that have been placed before you." He gave me a hug, and then held up his hands. I smiled as I was transported away.
˜˜˜˜
I opened the door to my room, and walked straight into Mason.
He smiled, "What are you doing out of your room? I thought you were doing that three day meditation stuff?" His face showed no trace of what he did.
I gave him a look that would have made the devil scared and walked away.
"Hey wait! What's wrong?" He grabbed my arm, and I flamed up. His hand jerked away as he gave out a little scream. I had burned his palm.
My voice reflected my burning anger, "Don't you dare talk to me, touch me, or even look at me after what you did. I will never forgive you!" I stormed away, and didn't look back.
I found Jasper in the throne room decorating for the wedding. When he saw me his eyes got big, "What are you doing in here? What happened to your praying?" He pulled me into a hug, and I melted into him for a minute. To think he could have ever hurt me just made me want to cry.
I pulled back, and looked into his eyes, "I decided that I couldn't stand to be away from you. Besides someone has to help plan this wedding or we are going to end up with a mixed-matched disaster." We both laughed, and hand in hand we started looking over flowers, and all the wedding materials.
Two hours later, when everything was finished, I asked, "Jasper I know this may seem impossible to ask of you, but I would like to have my family come stay with us here. I miss then terribly, and my dream was to have my family with me when I marry."
Jaspers eyes first had a look of fear, and then it vanished, replaced by a smile, "Of course. I need to meet the woman who helped raise my beautiful bride to be as caring as she is," He gave me a kiss on the forehead, and sent for a guard, "He will take you to your family for you to retrieve. Come back soon ok?"
I smiled, "Of course." I walked up to the guard, and told him where my family lived. Then, for the second time today, I was transported.
I stood in the center of Rachael's room as she packed. She wouldn't stop talking, "Should I bring this skirt? What do you bring to a castle so you can help your sister defeat an evil brother?"
I just stood there, not answering. I wasn't sure myself, and I knew if I tried to speak then my voice would crack. Giving away any sense of confidence I had left. I was wondering what we were going to do. Charlie and I brainstormed all night trying to figure out what to do. However, we could not come up with any solution that didn't backfire on us. We still didn't know if we should tell Jasper about the prophecy, or if we should just leave him in the dark. I was stumped on what to do, and I was getting married tomorrow. My family's lives are at stake, and I didn't know how to save them.
"Sylvia, you're not listening to me are you." Rachael's suitcase was packed, and she was standing with her hands on her hips waiting for my response.
