I lost count of time in the library. I just remember the information that I learned. Not only was my family the rightful rulers of this land, but they were known as the kindest rulers that Enchantment has ever seen. They were the third family to rule, and brought the most peace the land has ever seen. I learned that there are three other villages in England, and about twenty more spread out across the world. All of the villages are connected, and whenever there is a royal marriage it is usually to one of the royals from another village.

I also looked up information about the prophecy and its origins. I found out that the prophecy was voiced by my great-great-grandma who could tell the future. Before Jaspers great-great-grandpa killed her she spoke the prophecy, and when the Queen heard her words she decided to investigate. She was a connecter of the dead, and she summoned my grandmother's spirt to ask questions. My grandmother told her about how she saw the prophecy resulted, and that the child who will fulfill it would be the daughter of the elements. The Queen wrote all of her words down in text, and then hid the book hoping that one day someone would find it, and stop the madness her husband had created. Then, Princess Veronica found the book, and was scared by what she read. She didn't want to be a member of a lying family so she cast a spell on the book so that whoever opens the book will be transported back to that day, and she would be there waiting for them. She then cast a spell on herself so that she would always be in that time. So she didn't become a nymph. I guess the King just said that so no one would get suspicious as to why the Princess was missing.

I was reading a book about my family tree when Mason put his hand on my shoulder, "Sylvia I know that you want to keep researching, but we have to go. The ball is still going on, and it might even be over." I looked up at him, and couldn't help, but wondering if he opened the book and saw Veronica.

"I know I have to leave, but is there any way I can come back sometime?" I asked.

Mason stood there thinking about that, and then his face lit up, "I have an idea." He smacked his hands together, and a sparks exploded from his hands. I jumped in my seat, and Mason laughed. When we opened his hand there was a necklace hovering between his hands. The chain was made of what looked like pure sunlight, and the pendent was a golden sun.

Mason smiled, "I've been working on doing that. This necklace will allow you to transport from here to a secret place in the gardens outside the castle. Just be careful how much time you spend in here. You may think we were in here for hours, but in reality we have been here for about five minutes." My eyes got big, and I let out a little laugh. This is amazing. Not only can I come back, but I could be here forever and it won't really be forever.

Mason held out the necklace, "You might want to hide this somewhere because it might raise suspicion." I nodded, and snapped my fingers. The necklace disappeared, and I know it ended up in a locked box in my room.

We walked towards the door, and Mason grabbed my wrist gently, "Sylvia I want to let you know that whatever you saw a little while ago isn't what you think. I mean I know what you think you saw, but that isn't it. Wait, that sounded mean. Let me start over. I..."

I cut him off, "Mason, I know what I saw, but I probably over reacted. I mean I don't understand it, but I don't think I want to understand right now. I just want to go back to the ball, and act like everything in the world isn't messed up." I smiled, and gave him a nervous little laugh. I was suddenly aware that Mason was standing really close, and his hand was still on my wrist. I could feel the heat from his body, and the feeling of his hand on mine send shivers up my arm. I looked up at his eyes, and instantly got lost in the blue of his eyes. Why had I never noticed that Mason had such beautiful eyes? They were like a clear blue sea.
