"Oh I know, I'll hang it right here!"

I rolled my eyes as mom finally found the perfect place to hang my high school diploma. I had finally graduated and this was a major moment for her. The last of the River children was done with high school and finally growing up. One moment she was crying out in joy and the next she was actually crying because her babies were leaving her.

"Look at you, starting college and becoming an adult."

Alex hung his arm over my shoulders.

"You're gonna hate it!"

I laughed, pushing him away.

My relationship with Alex has gotten much better over the year. And I think I have Leah to thank for that. She definitely was putting Alex in a better mood. He was doing the same for her. Leah was a lot more cheerful and talkative with everyone. She enrolled in a community college, deciding to do something for herself.

"I'm going to head over to Jakes before the party." I said to mom.

Emily and Sam decided to throw Embry, Quil, and I a little gradation party.

I headed out the door, taking off running towards Jakes. I could hear him working in the garage, he has recently decided to fix up an old truck that he hoped would be done before Summer ends so he could sell it.

"Hey there!" I greeted him.

He popped his head out from the hood of the truck. His smile bright as always, "hey beautiful." He leaned down to place a warm kiss on my lips.

"You need to get cleaned up before the party," I reminded him. I grabbed the towel hanging on his shoulder and wiped away the dark stain on his left cheek. "Right, I almost forgot about that." I shook my head, "what would you do without me Jacob Black?"

He chuckled, "I don't even want to think about it."

Once we were inside I was quick to push him into the shower. Laying out some clean clothes for him to wear.

He came back into his room with only a towel tied around his waist.

"Like what you see? I can hear your heart racing." He teased.

"Don't make me laugh." I scoffed, turning my sights away from his very, very, and I mean very attractive body. I was beginning to feel warm inside, if anyone knew how to make me blush it was Jacob Black.

A pair of warm, wet lips kindly touched my shoulder. His hands wrapping around my waist, "this is not the time." I mentioned. "Come on, I know you want to." He whispered in my ear, sending shivers all over my body. I turned so our faces were only an inch apart. "I hate how much you turn me on." I glared. "You know you love it." He teased, a chuckle rising from his throat. I leaned in close enough so our lips almost touched, "get dressed."

Once I finally convinced Jake to put some clothes on we headed over to Sam and Emily's. Everyone was already there, the scent of all kinds of food filled the air. It wasn't hard to spot Emily in the sea of shape shifters. She was in the kitchen, like always. I headed over in her direction, being greeted with a warm smile. "Hey graduate!" I laughed. "The food looks great!" I complimented. "And it only took me all morning to make all of it!" She added. I don't think the pack knew just how lucky they were to have Emily around. If it wasn't for her they'd be hungry all the time!
