Monica's POV : "you ready?" Josh asked as he buttoned up his shirt. Today was the day. The day that determined if my life had purpose or not. Warped tour had finished a couple days ago, we were in Dallas now. I was currently staring at myself in the mirror with a blank face. I was wearing a black pencil skirt that was very fitting. Also a floral shirt with a black cardigan, and black heels. My hair was in a tight, perfect bun that sat on top of my head, I also had pearl earrings. "I'm ready." Tyler, Caity, Brent, Dave, Brandon, and Hayden were all downstairs in the hotel's lobby waiting for me. Josh had helped me hire a great lawyer. Top of their entire class. Hopefully that would be enough.

We walked into the courtroom that was waiting to hear our case. I took my seat next to my lawyer, his name was Troye. Josh, Tyler, Caity, and Crown were all seating behind me. They all told me good luck. I was talking to Josh when Andy and Halsey walked in with their lawyer. I really didn't like them. I looked over at the jury seats, that were already starting to fill up. I sat properly in my chair and prayed silently to myself while holding my cross necklace. Just then the judge walked in. "All rise. Present your reasons for wanting custody Mr. and Mrs. Rockhold." THEY GOT MARRIED WHAT THE HECK THEY GOT MARRIED SO THEY COULD MOST LIKELY WIN! Troye whisper yelled in my ear, "You didn't tell me they were married!" "I didn't know!" "Hmm we could use that."

Halsey took the stand and Troye walked up to her. "Hello Ashley," he said. She waved back. "So why do you want custody of Faith Zenaida Cruz?" "Monica isn't a good mother or parent and I think Faith needs a family. You know parents that are actually married, and not some single 18 year old that lives with her best friends. That's childish. That's like the things you talk about when you're in middle school. Its not realistic." "To my understanding neither you or your partner told my client that you two were married. That's something that needs to be said when wanting to fight for custody because of she lost you would get her daughter and so would Mr. Velasquez." "Well I mean i didn't think she needed to know." "No further questions your honor."

Next Andrew was up, "Hello sir." "Hello." "To my understanding you like to get drunk although you're not over the age if 21. Is that true? Because you can't be doing that when you have an 8 month old daughter. That'd be horrible wouldn't it?" "Look I only drink when-" "answer the question." "yes..." that caused a smirk to spread across Troye's face. "And you have anger issues as well?" "No." "That's not what my witnesses and client have said." "I-I don't look I-" "No more further questions your honor."

It was now my turn, Andy's lawyer's name was Christo Bowman. "Hello Ms. Cruz." "Hello." "So I see you're basically calling out my client for getting drunk." "Yes." "Well Mrs. Velasquez has told me that YOU were drunk and you assaulted her." "I wasn't drunk, I have proof." "So what you're saying is that you were sober when you assaulted my client is that right?" I went completely silent, talk about karma. "Yes." "Your honor may we present this evidence just so you can see who you would be letting Faith live with if it were Ms. Cruz." "Let's see it."

They played the video on the tv above the judge. The video showed EVERYTHING that happened at that night. I couldn't watch it anymore, so I turned around. Troye was currently giving me a mad look and mouthed, "why didn't you tell me?" I just frowned. After the video was playing the judge shook her head. Troye spoke, "they didn't have her consent to film the video." "I don't care right now, what she was totally wrong. However since she has a clean record, this will be a warning and a fine pay." Andy's lawyer grinned.
