Wake Me Up

Chapter 13

Monica's POV : I woke up next to my wonderful, handsome boyfriend. He came back around 1 AM. I kissed his cheek and that sure woke him up. "Good Morning Princess" he said with his sleepy voice, it was so attractive. "I can't wait to see you perform today !" i whisper yelled. "I can't wait to give you a great performance." "When do you find out what time you're performing-" I was cut off by Bailey.

"NO I'M NOT WORKING IN THE STUPID HEAT !" She shouted, which I'm sure woke everyone up considering it was only 8, meaning we had to wake up soon. "Oh my gosh grow up ! that's the only reason why I wanted you to come on tour !" Andy said as he raised his voice.

"YOU WERE JUST USING ME ?! NOW IM REALLY NOT GONNA DO IT ! YOU KNOW WHAT IM CALLING A CAB TO TAKE ME HOME IM NOT SPENDING A WHOLE MONTH WITH YOU EVERYDAY !" once again she slammed the door. What's wrong with those two ? Andy and I never fought like that.

"Andy it's okay, I'd love to help Moni out at the merch tent," Hayden's girlfriend told Andy. "Thank you so much Caity. But don't you have to be at the AP tent ?" "i'm sure Nick can handle it." "Thank you again, you're a life saver." I could practically hear the relief Andy had outside Dave and I's bunk.

"Have they always fought ?" I asked Dave with a whisper. "Believe it or not yes, well c'mon we got a big day ahead of us." Dave said getting up. I got up right after. I had packed my outfit for today in my backpack which was next to me. I took the time that Dave was gone in order to change.

It was so hard changing in such a small space and knowing he could back any second. I roughly pulled down my sweatpants and put on my dark blue jean shorts. Next I took of my t-shirt and replaced it with a Crown the Empire shirt that was given to me yesterday by Brandon. I put some black socks on along with my slip on black vans. I put my messy curly hair down and put in my contacts, using my phone as a mirror.

Once I got out of the bunk, I adjusted my shorts. There was a line for the restroom, so I got my toothbrush and toothpaste from my backpack and went to the 'kitchen sink'. I brushed my teeth for about 3O seconds, I cared for my teeth A LOT. I then rinsed my mouth and returned my things to my bunk which was on the very bottom.

I was going to go check what time Crown the Empire would be playing but I was stopped by Andy, smoking a cigarette. Typical. "Hey." he said exhaling the smoke that formed in his mouth. I coughed, I truly hated everything about cigarettes. I was so against it. "Hi, well um I have to go check what time you guys are playing so adiós," I said waving like an idiot and fast walking.

Next thing you know Andy's right next to me. I screamed so loud, "MY GOSH YOU SCARED ME !" He just chuckled. "I'll come with you," he said smiling. UGH. it's going to be so hard to ignore this human being.

Andy tried to converse with me but I would answer with simple words like 'no', 'yes', 'okay'. I think he got the message that I didn't want to talk because he stopped talking. We had finally arrived at the inflatable sign it read, 'Crown the Empire : 12:3O Stage : Ernie Ball Stage'.

I checked the time and it was 8:3O, so that gave us 4 hrs. Great.

12:OO PM

Warped tour had started at 11. Caity and I had been taking care of merch. I can honestly say I love Caity, she's so much fun. We had been joking around the whole time. Some fans even asked to take pictures with her.

"So you and Dave huh ?" she asked wiggling her eyebrows. "What about us ?" "Have you two had you know what ?" My eyes went wide. How are am I supposed to say I don't want to have sex until I'm married without sounding like I want Dave to ask me to marry him when I don't.

"I-I um no..." I managed to stutter out. "Why not ?" "Well we just started dating, its only been 2 weeks. It's WAY too early-" I was cut off by hearing a song I KNEW was Crown the Empire. "Bye Caity !" I ran towards the Ernie Ball Stage as fast as possible. I showed the security my pass and ran in front of the stage.

Their opening song was "Breaking Point" one of my favorites. Next up was a song that I've never heard. "This is, is a new one. We just released a music video for this one. It's called memories of a broken heart. Not a lot of people know this but it's a song about my um, a person who I had a thing with. I dedicate this song to her." Andy spoke into the microphone.
Is it for me ? No, not possible. I let the lyrics wash over me and I just knew.

The lyrics had me crying. All the memories that I've had with that dork flooded me. I had managed to cover up my tears with my camera. Hopefully no one saw. Next thing I know I'm being pulled up on stage by my boyfriend. I quickly rubbed my eyes with my shirt.

I gulped as I saw the sea of people. My eyes went wide. Until Dave spoke into the microphone, "This is my beautiful girlfriend- " Don't say Monica, don't say Monica "Everyone calls her Moni but I call her 'Darling'. She makes me absolutely happy, she's the sun for me. I need her to wake me up, I need her to lead me, she's bright, she's my sunshine, and she's hot." I chuckled at that last part. My eyes were watery, what he sad was so cute. But I don't deserve him in all honesty. He deserves better. I was shaken out of my thoughts when he kissed me, I loved his soft lips.

I then hugged him and went to the side of the stage. I couldn't help but notice Andy's expression. It was a straight face that soon turned into a small smile as he looked at me. But I noticed he was looking at Bailey right beside me. I looked over at her and noticied she rolled her eyes at Andy. He looked hurt. He smiled and laughed, and he shook his head. Not like 'I know you're joking' but like I'm tired of you'. Harsh.

6 o'clock

"I still can't believe you did that. You're incredible." I said cuddling next to Dave. "You know what, I'm taking you out to dinner. Get ready !" Dave said as he went outside to get his luggage. Well I guess I should be getting ready.

I straightened my hair and it was up to my hips. I put foundation, concealer, primer, highlight, and contoured my face. Next I did a smokey eye. My eyeliner had came out so good. I next shaped my eyebrows. I added some dark red lipstick on my plump lips. I finished it off with setting spray. I changed into my gray dress. It had black lace for the sleeves and on the edge on the bottom part of the dress that was above my knee. I put on my black heels, and topped it off with a diamond rolex. Perfect.

"Are you done yet ? I wanna see you !" Caity said as she knocked on the door. "Yea hold on chick," i took one last look at myself and applied mascara before heading out. Caity's jaw dropped. "YOU LOOK SO BEAUTIFUL OH MY GOSH I NEED A PICTURE" There I was 1O mins later because she needed the 'perfect picture'. "Caity I gotta go." i said whining. "Ugh fine, have fun !" she said hugging me. Dave ended up inviting everyone but only Caity, Hayden, Bailey, and Andy agreed to go.

Caity was wearing a navy blue dress that was fitting at the top, then flared out at the botton. It was simple but it was beautiful. Her makeup was to die for as well. She put her hair in a really nice bun that sat on top of her hair. "Where's Bailey ?" I asked. "Do you really care about her ?" "I mean yea ..." "C'mon she's probably ready and in the front lounge."

"I'm right here bit.ches !" she said appearing from the back lounge. She was wearing ripped skinny jeans and a huge t-shirt. Her hair was messy and she was wearing sandals. She pushed both of us aside and made her way to the front lounge where all the guys were.

"What are you wearing ?!" Both Caity and I heard Andy question Bailey. "Look babe, I don't have to wear anything fancy to look good. I always look good!" "unbelievable." "Caity maybe we should go now." "Yea you're right. Maybe we could brighten the mood."

We walked hand in hand to the front lounge. Hayden's eyes immediately went wide. He attacked Caity with a hug and spun her around. While doing so he hit Bailey in the back with Caity's feet. I'm pretty sure that was on purpose. I chuckled. They're so cute together.

I could've sworn I saw Dave drool. He kissed me in between his words, "you" "look" "absolutely" "drop" "dead" "gorgeous" Then he took the air out of my lungs with a hug. I couldn't help but notice Andy looking at me out of the corner of my eye. When I finally looked at him, I bit my lip. Not because I thought he was cute but because I do that when I'm nervous. He immediately ran to fridge and pulled out a water bottle. Um okay ? Tonight was gonna be interesting.
