Chapter 5-

*Connors POV*

I turned to the boys and said, 'so how were your nights last night?'

Tris piped up 'great actually! I met this girl Alex, who i think is Alice's friend, and we just had a laugh and everything was, well perfect! Hey do u think u could ask Alice if I could have Alex's number?'

'Sure, I will ask.' I replied pulling out my phone again.

CONNOR: Hey trissy boy wants to know if he could have Alex's number... I think he may have a slight crush 😃 xxx

She replied a minute later, and when my phone lit up with her name i couldnt help but smile.

ALICE: Sure thing! Its (number) 😊 i saw them last night and they looked so cute, and Alex said to me earlier that she had a good time 😉 xxx

CONNOR: Thats awesome! I think we all had a good time to be fair! I will talk to you later xxx

ALICE: Okay ☺️ xxx

I didn't want to stop talking to her, but I knew that if I carried on talking to her much longer, I would end up being mocked to the end of the earth by the boys.

'Ive got her number tris!'
'Great! Let me find my phone!'

As he grabbed his phone out I turned round to brad after giving him her number.

'So Bradley, good night?'
'Yu huh.'
'Thats all we get?' James asked, I could tell he was dying to know the gossip.
'Erm, well I might have kissed Amber...'
I looked at James and we both began fangirling, Brads cheek turning red.
'Guys stop!'
'Okay okay, keep your knickers on!' I remarked.

Brad kissed Amber. Wow. I could only imagine what it would feel like to kiss Alice. She probably didnt even like me so I guess I would just have to knock the thoughts out of my head, allthough I know im not gonna be able to stop thinking about her.

'So then shall we head off?' I nodded in reply, not caring who it was that even said it, all I could think of was Alice.

*Tristans POV*

When I got home I plucked up the courage to text Alex.

TRIS: Hey Alex, its Tris, i hope you dont mind i got your number off alice, but i just wanted to say i had a great time last night 😉 xxx

I tapped my thumbs waiting for a reply, and took a breath of relief a few minutes later when another text popped up onto my screen.

ALEX: I had a great time! Thanks for making me not feel like a loner 😝 xx

TRIS: Well i will make sure your never a loner ever again 😄 xx

ALEX: i will hold you to that promise 😉 xxxxx

I couldn't help but laugh to myself, gosh this girl was witty. And I wasnt one to deny that I loved that about her.

TRIS: I dont doubt that you will 😉 do you want to meet up after school some day next week? xxx

I took a deep breath as I sent the risky text... She was taking longer than before to reply. What if she doesnt like me, what if she really hates me, I started to panic, and my breathing raced.

ALEX: I would love to! I just went to check the diary, and Im free all days apart from monday, whens best for you? xx

Thank gosh. I dont know what i would have done if she said no. Hit my head on a wall till the only pain i could feel was a giant headache? Hmm i will keep that in mind.

TRIS: Shall we go for tuesday then? I could meet you at the costa in town? xx

ALEX: Sounds perfect 😀 i will be there xxx

TRIS: See you then i guess! Have a great weekend xxxxxxx

ALEX: you too xxx


*Alex's POV*

After I finished texting Tristan, I flopped down on my bed and took a long deep breath. Something about that boy made my heart dance with excitement. Then I realised, I was going to be with Tristan, alone. What if he didnt like me? What if im not the girl he thought I was? I wanted to talk to all my girls. But I guess I would have to wait until monday when Katy got back from her holiday to Mallorca. She was gonna love all this gossip.


*FAST FORWARD TO MONDAY*

*Alice's POV*

The girls and I (me, amber and alex) were all stood inside the airport doors waiting for Katy to get off the plane and come find us. She had been gone for 2 weeks now, and we all missed her like crazy, so since we all had a free period this morning we decided to surprise her and pick her up from the airport. I heard my phone going off and picked it out from my bag, I had two texts, one from Katy saying she would see us later coz she had just landed, little did she know we were waiting for her right here! The other text was from Connor.

CONNOR: Hey where r you? I havent seen you all day 😓 xxx

He was so cute. I was really falling for this guy. I quickly replied to Katy saying great, then went back to focus on Con's message.

ALICE: Sowwwy 😫 me and the girls are at the airport coz we are picking up our friend Katy ✈️ I will be back in school by lunch i promise xxxxx

CONNOR: Okay 😌 i missed you in form this morning though xxx

ALICE: Awww i miss you too Con xxx I will talk to you in school because Katy will be here soon xxxx

CONNOR: Okay see you later xxx

I smiled as I read his last text, and lifted my head up to see Amber and Alex stared at me, smirks on their faces.

'Texting Connor are we?' Alex said,
'Oh yeah coz its not like you haven't been texting tristan all weekend is it now?' I said pulling my typical comeback face, 'or brad?' I said turning to amber. I could tell by the look on their faces that i was right. Score one alice, zero to the others.

'Come on guys' amber said ' katy will be coming through soon! Lets get the sign out!'
I nodded reached into my bag and bringing out a sign that said WELCOME HOME TO THE BESTEST KATTY on one side, then on the other it said BUT TO BE FAIR, MATE YOUR A COCK. The last bit was my special lawson joke that only geese will understand, katy being one of them as well as like my sister since we were two.

As I giggled at my own hilarity, I got a nudge from Alex, meaning Katy was in sight, and sure enough I could see her blonde hair bobbing up and down as she walked along, suitcase trailing behind. Her face when she noticed us (and the sign) was picture perfect. She dropped her suitcase and ran towards us, and we had the best group hug ever.

'Why didnt you tell me you guys were coming?!!'
'Now where would be the fun in that?' Alex replied smug-ly.
'God ive missed you guys!' She screamed pulling us into a hug once again!

We grabbed all her stuff and made our way back to Alex's red BMW, thank god alex can drive thats all im saying! We all piled in and Katy asked,
'So whats happened since Ive been gone?'
I signed and said, 'well. Where do i begin?'
