The Vamps Fanfiction- Bumping into You

Chapter 29-

*Alices POV*

I stood in the kitchen leaning against the counter trying to blink the tears away from my eyes. Connor is going to have someone else's baby! I felt like a knife had been stabbed forcefully into my chest and was being dragged down slowly ( sorry for the graphic imaging :/ )

Amber came in through the kitchen door making it swing hard against the wall; "what happened?" She asked. I tried to remain calm and breath but it came out in pathetic sobs.

"What! Connor got his ex pregnant!" I nodded, "did you break up with him!?" I shook my head

"all I could do was ask him to leave"

Amber-"do you want to break up"

Alice-"for the moment , I need to sort things out, I don't know what he plans to do"

Amber- "do you want me to tell him for you?"

I nodded again crying even harder. Amber, who had been holding my hand across the table , stood up and came to put her arms around me...

*Brads POV*

It had to be done. It would have hurt Alice more if he had left it another nine months!!!!!! Although I do feel sympathy for Alice, her boyfriend turned around an told her he'd got someone else pregnant! Quite hard to take and on top of that she has anxiety. It wasn't the nicest way to tell her but like I said, it had to be done.

------- The Next Day-------

I walked into the form room not sure who to sit with. Connor or Alice. My problem was solved when I couldn't find Connor in the room, so I went and sat down next to Amber. She looked up from her work and have me a quick smile brushing back the hair that had fallen from her face. "Hey" she said and I got a mumbled greeting from Alice and Katy.

"Hey, where's Alex!"

"we think she's ill but you never know she could be skiing in Jamaica for all we know!" I laughed under my breath and looked up at Alice ; "you alright" she nodded even though we all knew she wasn't . "So.... Have you spoken to Con?" I knew it was risky to ask but I didn't really want to sit there in awkward silence for the rest of the day. We were all looking at Alice for a response.

"No and I don't think I can"

"Oh... Well when your ready I think he'd like to explain"

I didn't get a response to that.

Amber packed up her folder and took it outside to her locker. I took the chance and followed her out. "Hey" I said again "hi, have we got rehearsal today" Ah crap I forgot , "yeah after school 5 till 7 I think.

"Right, I need to go and get food them cause otherwise I will starve!" She shut her locker and picked up her bag from the floor.

"So do I, so do you want to go together?"

"Sure!" She beamed a smile at me, "do you know where Connor is I need to tell him something"

As if in a movie, Connor walked in, greeting us as he went.

"Connor I need to talk to you!" Amber sounded serious so I decided it best to leave them alone.

*Ambers POV*

Brad left me and Connor alone by the lockers and so I preceded. I hate being the bearer of bad news 😞

"Um.. I was talking to Alice last night and she wanted me to let you know that temporarily she's broken up with you... Until she sorts things out... She wants to talk to you but it may take a while before she wants to" I paused giving Connor time to accept the break up.

"Ok" was all he said and then he did something that surprised me, he hugged me! "I want you to tell Alice that I still want to be friends while she's figuring things out"

So in I went relaying the message to Alice. To which she asked me to tell him that that was fine and he wants to friends aswell.

"He's out there you go tell him yourself I am not the f*cking messenger here!!!"

The bell sounded and a sea of people excited the classroom leaving me, Brad and Alice. Katy left to go somewhere and Connor had just walked in. The conversation was dry and awkward so Brad and I decided to go and get that food we needed!
