*Alices POV*

'But what about Amber con? We are gonna have to tell her about Louise at some point.'
He sighed knowing I was right. 'Okay, how about you call her now?' I nodded, picked up my phone and walked outside.

*PHONE CONVERSATION*
ALICE- hey hun, how you doing?
AMBER- Im good thanks! Having a good saturday?
ALICE- i guess so... Hows yours been?
AMBER- great! Im actually at the park with Daniel now!
ALICE- ooo daniel eh?
AMBER- oh dont you start! Its helping me keep my mind off you know who.
ALICE- VOLDEMORT?!
AMBER- gosh alice! Brad!!
ALICE- ohhh i totally knew that! Hahaha speaking of brad.. There is something you should know.
AMBER- what alice...
ALICE- He has a girlfriend.

The line went dead.

-----Later that day----

*Connors POV*

Alice had been really quiet since the phone call to Amber. I want to know what happened, but I knew she wouldn't want to tell me around everyone, especially Louise and Brad. We were on the train back home, and since there was no school tomorrow, I though why not ask.
'Alice do u want to stay over at mine tonight?'
She looked up at me, smiled and nodded, resting her head on my shoulder, where it fit perfectly.

*Alex's POV*

I knew that I couldn't go out with any of the girls today, because Alice and Katy were up in London meeting Brads girlfriend. And amber texted me earlier saying she was going out with Daniel for the day. So yay me, I'm alone. I was bored out of my mind, so I thought hey, why not text tristan? I knew he wasn't in London with the others, so why not see if he's around?

ALEX- Hey tris! Are you doing anything today? Xxxx
TRISTAN- Yeah sorry :( Ive somehow been dragged into making dinner for the entire family! Like cousins and all! :'( xxxx

I couldn't help but smile at the thought of him cooking, then laugh knowing it would all go horribly wrong.

ALEX- Awww your so nice!! Hahaha good luck for your family then... Xxxxx
TRISTAN- whats that meant to mean? (Notice the lack of kisses on this message)
ALEX- Im sure your an amazing cook really! Xxxxx
TRISTAN- YES I AM! Hey are you free tomorrow? Xxxx
ALEX- yeah.... Why? Xxxx
TRISTAN- Well its sorted then. Your coming round to mine so I can prove to you what a great cook i am! Xxx
ALEX- I look forward to it 😝 xxx

We carried on texting about nothing in particular until i realised we had been talking for three hours and that I should probably go and do some work now, and he better start his cooking.

TRISTAN- bye bye Alex :-* xxxx
ALEX- Bye bye trissy :-* xxxxx

I couldn't wait for tomorrow.

*Ambers POV*

'Im so sorry Daniel. Ive erm got to go.' I said to Daniel, feeling the tears welling up in my eyes.
'Oh okay, do you want me to walk you home? Will you be okay?'
'I will be fine, and I will walk on my own thanks. I'll text you okay?'
'Sure' he said, pulling in for a hug. He released and I sprinted off in the direction of my house, not even attempting to hold off the water works now.

I got home and ran straight to my room, running past my mum who looked at my worriedly as she could see the tears. I collapsed on my bed, and let all the emotions go. He has a girlfriend? How, why would he do that to me? Why would he kiss me when he has a girlfriend. This is all so messed up. I screamed into the pillow, and when I stopped I could hear the sound of my bedroom door opening, and my mum walking in and sitting down on my bed.
'Whats wrong hunny? I brought you a cup of tea.'
I turned over to face my mum and we both snuggled up under the duvet like we did when she used to read stories to me when I was little, me taking the cup of tea and squeezing out the reply.
'Boys.' My mum looked at me with a lifetime of knowledge in her eyes.
'Ahhh I see the problem. Tell me all.'
I knew that keeping it all boxed up wasn't going to help at all, so I told my mum everything. From Alice bumping into Connor, to meeting brad, the party. The kiss. And everything that went downhill from there. Including the moment where he turned me down outside this very house. I looked up at my mum, hoping she had some words of reassurance.
'Amber honey, boys are stupid and have no clue what they are feeling. Trust me I know this from experience. It sounds like Brad has just got all his feelings mixed up. But if I were you, I would show that boy what he's missing out on.' I thought about this for a minute. If Brad thought that the whole him having a girlfriend didn't affect me would it make him jealous? Who knows. But I guess anything is better than sulking around all day.

'Mum'
'Yes Amber'
'Lets do this'


*Connors POV*

We got back to my house at around 8pm, both of us shattered from today. We said hi to my mum, had some dinner and then went straight up to my room and collapsed onto the bed, Alice cuddling up into my chest. After a few minutes of peace I decided I couldn't take not knowing what was hurting alice anymore, so i shuffled up so I was upright and Alice sat on my lap, my arms wrapped around her.
'Alice?'
'Connor?'
'Whats wrong?'
She sighed. 'Where do i start?'
'How about when Louise whispered in your ear?'

'Wow that seems so long ago. Anyway. Louise pulled me in for the hug and I though oh maybe shes not as bad as everyone thinks she is. But then she whispered into my ear 'keep your filthy little friend Amber away from my Brad, am i making myself clear?' Which freaked me out a bit.'
I was pulling Alice closer in to me, despite knowing this has already happened and Louise cant get to her here I wanted to protect her.
'And when I was trying to be nice to her all day, she just looked at me like I was scum. And when i told her about us she laughed, asked me if I was being serious, then said enjoy it while it lasts.'
'Bitch' I knew alice could tell I was getting angry but i didnt care no one could be that horrible to my girl and get away with it.
'Connor, dont. Its fine!' She said her face about an inch away from mine. I closed the distance between us and placed my lips onto her warm plump lips and the sparks flew, both of our lips moving in synchronisation. After a while we both pulled apart and I wanted Alice to carry on.
'Well you were there for the rest of it Con. Apart from when I phoned Amber.'
I nodded. 'And?'
'She was with Daniel.'
'That guy from english?'
'Yeah, she sounded almost happy, but I had to tell her about Louise. So I didn't, and the line just went dead. I want to go and see if she okay tomorrow.'
I pulled Alice in close, after nodding, and we just stayed there for a while her curled up into my chest, my arms wrapped around her. It was nearly 10 by now, so I decided we should probably get some sleep.
'Do u want to go to sleep now?' I asked.
'Sounds good to me.'

We got ready, jumped under my duvet and snuggled up close to each other, mirroring each others positions (also know as spooning) me with my arms wrapped round alice. Alice cuddled up with her back facing my chest.
'Night Con, I love you.'
'Night Ali, I love you too'

And thats how we fell asleep.
