The Vamps Fanfiction- Bumping into You

Chapter 2-

*Alice's POV*
I looked at myself in the mirror trying to fix my hair, Amber sat cross legged on my bed.
"I am so nervous it's unbelievable" I said to her.
"I know me too! This never happens to us, we never get invited places by guys and especially by ones that are so adorable and cute!!"
"Well we can thank me for being late for Maths!"
We both laughed and I finally decided that my overall appearance wasn't
going to improve no matter how long I spent staring at the mirror.
"So what do you think their band is like?" Amber was just starting to get a bit over excited as she does at everything.
" I don't know, but I bet they are amazing, I never even bothered to ask what Connor does!" I hear my mum calling us both downstairs, Alex had arrived to pick us up.
" I guess we'll find out when we get there"

*Ambers POV*
Sitting in Alexs red BMW, I start to get butterflies. Not that I wasn't nervous before but the reality of the fact that I am currently on the way to meeting up with a really cute guy was just starting to sink in.
Alice was typing the address into the sat nav and we set off. It was about 5:40 and it was already pretty dark. That's November for you!

"So who are these guys?" Alex asked. We didn't really tell her where we were going, Alice phoned her up and said 'we met some really cute guys please come and drive us to their party!!'

"Basically Alice and Connor had a movie moment in the school corridor and instantly fell in love"
Alice turned around in the passenger seat and lightly punched me. As I pretended that she mortally wounded me I heard the sound of tyres on gravel and looked outside the window to the house.

*Alices POV*
Walking into the house I can barely see a thing, for the flashing disco lights. Amber, Alex and I make a chain of hands so we don't lose each other. I hear someone calling my name and instantly recognized that sweet, soft voice. Turning around I see Connor heading towards us. Keep it cool. Stay calm.

" hey Connor"
"I'm so glad you managed to make it"
"Me too,"
I felt the girls looking at us and my face started to redden.
"We are on in a minute but I wanted to make sure you were okay before I left you"
"I'll be here when your done"
He smiled the sweetest smile and backed away into the crowd of people, disappearing from my sight.

I turned around to find the girls giving me funny looks. "Oh shut up!"

Connor, Brad and two other people walked on stage. Brad took the lead position and introduced; "hi we're 'The Vamps' our first song is an original called Wildheart I hope you like it"'. Connor I now knew played the bass and for some unknown reason it made me fall in love with him even more, he just looked so cute up there. They started playing a really upbeat tune and got everyone up raving and dancing. Brad took the microphone and started singing the lyrics "I was walking away, but she's so beautiful it made me stay, I don't know her name, but I'm hoping she might feel the same"

Oh my god he had such a good voice. I looked over at Amber...


*Ambers POV*

*Alices POV*
Their set was over and Connor resumed his place next to me. A DJ started playing some mainstream music and we just danced and talked together for at least an hour. I didn't know the time and I didn't really care, all I could think about was how perfect Connor was here in front of me. His messy blonde hair, his beautifully blue eyes...


*Ambers POV*

Brad kept talking to me about how we should get Connor and Alice together. He wants them to be together just as much as I want US to get together.

I could barely hear Brad over the DJ. I tried to lip read him but it didn't work.
"Pardon!?"
"You look really great tonight"
My stomach flipped. I really didn't think I looked great; I was wearing a red skater style dress and a white pair of worn out converses. I decided to go for it and compliment him back.

"Thanks, you look great too" that sounds stupid I sounded so vain. Why Amber why.
The next part caught me slightly off guard. Brad leant in and said in my ear,
"Not as good as you" ,
His hand was on my waist and his face was literally about and inch away from mine. I'm surprised he couldn't hear my heart as it was pumping right out of my chest.
