The Vamps Fanfiction- Bumping into You

Chapter 36-

*Alexs POV*

All four of us were sitting on our suitcases looking out of the window anxiously awaiting the arrival of James' giant 8 seater car. Every headlight we saw, every crunch of gravel sent all of us into alert mode. We looked like a gang of meerkats!

My attention was diverted when my cat Jet came and jumped on my lap begging to be stroked. I was going to miss him this weekend. He'll be so lonely :(

Amber and Katy jumped up as James car pulled into my driveway and a tall blonde figure emerged from the car. I jumped up too, carrying Jet, and went to open the front door. A smile and a hug greeted me at the same time squishing my cat

"Hey don't squish my cat!" I exclaimed whilst bringing Jet into my chest for protection.

"I'm sorry it won't happen again can I make up for it?" Tristan said whilst going forward to stroke him, but before he could he pounced out of my arms, his paws putting immense pressure on my chest, and believe me if your a girl you will understand my pain!

"Sorry he's not very good with new people" I said whilst rubbing the hair from my Jack Wills jumper.

"I think he just feels intimidated by my superior looks and charming personality" Tristan beamed a perfect smile at me and I couldn't argue back so I just laughed.

The other girls were now pushing me out the door, suitcases in hand. When we arrived at the car we crammed all four of our suitcases in on top of the four already in there. Tristan being the gentleman he is opened the car door with a bow. "After you my ladies!"

We all piled in me first then Amber, Katy and lastly Alice. When we got in we saw that Brad and Connor were sat next to each other listening to music on their phones. I placed myself in the seat opposite Connor and Amber resided next to me (opposite Brad (the car is laid out in two threes opposite each other + the driver and passenger seat)). Alice sat next to Brad and Tristan next to Amber.

"Excuse me guys!" Katy said whilst scrambling over all of us into the passenger seat next to James.

"You could have gone round and used the door!" Connor said .

Katy-"this way was more fun"

James turned up the radio which was playing Roar by Katy Perry and whooped.

"And were off!" Connor said using his Davy Jones voice making all of us laugh.

*Ambers POV*

Two hours into the journey and I was nearly asleep. I literally woke up like 5 hours ago!?!?! What is wrong with me. Just as I was about to 'nod off' my music stopped and an extremely loud "ding dong" rang in my ears making me alert once again. I looked down at my phone pausing my music to check who had texted me.

Brad- Heyyyyyy what you listening to??? :) xxxx

I looked up at Brad who was smiling at me.

Amber- The Arctic Monkeys Fluorescent Adolescent xxxx :P

Brad- good song xxxx

Brad- Tristan stop reading our messages

I was so absorbed in Brad I hadn't noticed Tristan leaning over and reading our conversation. I slapped him with my free hand and he made protest.

"Ssh you'll wake up the others!" Katy, Alex and Alice had fallen asleep. Alice on Brads shoulder (haha), Katy curled up in a ball on her seat, and Alex was leaning against the window.

Tristan resulted to childish methods and stuck his tongue out at me. I refocused on my phone making sure Tristan wasn't looking. Brads feet were now on my seat and I mirrored him.

Amber-sorry ill be more careful :) xxxx

Brad- you should be, you never know what I might have been sending ;) xxxx

Amber- hahahaha ill make sure i take extra care now ;) xxxx

Brad rested his hands on my converse-stripped feet and I fell asleep to the sound of Alex Turner singing Library Pictures through my headphones.
