The Vamps Fanfiction- Bumping into You

Chapter 31-

*Katy's POV*

Alice, Alex, Connor and I were all gaping at the middle of the stage. Our mouths were wide open and I'm surprised we didn't catch any flies. Let me explain.

-5 Hours Earlier-

I walked into Starbucks to see only James sat there. James? He isn't even in our play. I must have been pulling a really confused face and he seemed to know what i was thinking and answered my question.

'Tris and I are coming to watch your show, so we thought we would come to your pre-show coffee and wish you good luck!'

'Aww thanks! So none of the others are here yet?'

'Well tris went to the toilet just before you got here, but apart from that no one else has turned up yet! Just us!'

I looked down at my watch and saw that it had only just gone past 3pm, so i knew the others would be late, and we agreed to meet at 3. So james and i chatted for a bit, then tris came back out of the toilets so i decided to go grab myself a coffee. I walked over to the front of the shop and asked the guy working there for a caramel latte. I stood waiting for my latte after paying, and when the guy handed it to me, i noticed a black scribble on the side of the cardboard cup, i tilted my head to the side and read what it said.

'Hey, call me (number) luke x'

I smiled to myself, and turned back to the guy who i guess was Luke, he was pretty cute, nice smile. I nodded at him and returned the smile he had plastered on his face. I went and sat back down next to James and Tris. Tris noticed that i must have been smiling,

'Whatcha grinning about kat?'

I turned my head back round to luke and replied 'the guy at the counter wrote his number on my latte.'

James and tris looked to each other then back to me. 'Awww our little katty is growing up!' James exclaimed tris nodding along. I blushed and was glad that Alice and Connor had decided to walk in at that moment. Together. Thats strange since they havent properly spoken in like a week.

'hey guys,' alice said walking over. Connor walked over to luke i guess to get him and alice drinks. I widened my eyes looking at alice then moved my eyes to con, hoping she would get the drift of what i was trying to say.

*Alice's POV*

Con and I walked into Starbucks and he offered to get me my drink, so I agreed, i suppose he kind of owes it to me. So i walked over to Katy, Tris and James who were sat around the big table in the corner,

'Hey guys.'

They replied their heys and asked me how i was and we started talking. I noticed katy was almost glaring at me, and once she had got my attention she turned her glare to connor and hinted that she wanted me to explain why we came in together. I leant towards her ear and whispered 'we just bumped into each other on the way over, and it seemed rude to ignore him so we just spoke on the way over. We are okay i guess.' She nodded just as Connor came over to the table with our cups of tea. I smiled and said thanks to him and sat down next to Katy, Connor next to me. He smiled back at me and i turned my head and joined in the conversation. About 5 minutes later Amber and brad walked in laughing at each other, they both smiled went and got their drinks and grabbed some chairs and pulled them around the table we were all sat at. And 15 minutes later, late as normal Alex ran in, looked around for us frantically and took a sigh of relief when she saw us. I couldnt help but laugh at her, as she came over and dumped her stuff before going to get a drink, she came back and we just sat there talking for ages.

*Alex's POV*

After i got to Starbucks, we all just sat there talking for an hour or so. Tristan seemed slightly strange today, almost disconnected from the conversation which was not normal in any way for him, i kept looking at him to find him already sat there looking at me, so I would smile and look away before it got too awkward. I looked down at my phone to see that we had to be in school in 10 mins to get ready for the show.
