The Vamps Fanfiction- Bumping into You

Chapter 28-

*Brads POV*

All four of us burst in through the hospital doors frantically trying to navigate our way through the complex twists and turns. When we finally arrived at Alices room we came into quite a sad scene. Alice was sitting on the edge of the bed crying and rocking back and forth, Katy and Alex were standing near comforting her and Amber was pacing anxiously back and forth by the window.

The doctor looked up at us and said "are you here for Miss Morgan?" We all replied with a nod and she came over to inform us of what happened,

"Your friend Miss Morgan fainted earlier in the day and received a mild concussion," she paused to take a deep breath before continuing "this was due to her suffering from GAD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and also from emotional stress. You all have to take care to make sure she doesn't undergo any traumatic stress without support, symptoms can include insomnia, fatigue, restlessness, fainting and may include panic attacks"

I think all of us were too shocked to say anything. Alice always seemed so happy and never really seemed stressed out, but I guess she wouldn't want to have it out in the open!! We walk into the room and awkwardly greeted the girls, Alice had stopped crying and was preparing to leave. I went to stand next to Amber who was looking intently at the floor. "Hey" I say into her ear , "are you ok?" She looked at me and an expression fell on her face that I hadn't really seen before. Worry.

"I haven't seen her suffer this worse before"

"you knew!?" She nodded,

"I was the only one besides her mum that knew" she removed her gaze from me and back towards the floor. I could tell that she was genuinely fearing for Alice and that it was really hurting her to see Alice suffer. Connor can't tell Alice now after all this! I secretly take hold of Amber's hand and give it a reassuring squeeze, she looks up and gives me a half hearted smile.

*Alices POV*

In. Out. In. Out. I try to control my breathing, I don't want to have another attack. Now everyone knows its going to be so much worse. I'm going to get all the extra special attention I don't want! It was better when it was just Amber that knew, and Connor still hasn't spoken to me. That was what essentially caused my stress, I got myself all worked up when he didn't come home last night and then the ball just exploded. I still need to know why he never came back...

I focus on not falling over and use Amber as a support as I step one foot in front of the other towards James' car

*Connors POV*

We arrive at Alices house and we all collapse onto the sofa everyone not daring to speak. Alice asks Amber to help her into the kitchen to get a drink. I follow them out a few paces behind.

"Hey Amber is it ok if I can talk to Alice alone for a minute?" I timidly ask fearing for Alices reaction when I told her. Amber and Alice exchange glances before she nods "sure" and walks out leaving me and Alice alone in the kitchen.

"What happened to you that night , you never came back!" Alice looked so innocent right then and I hated that I was going to have to break her heart,

"I met up with Emma"

"Emma?"

"My ex" I waited for a response,

"Oh... Why?" She was staring directly into my eyes and I couldn't bring myself to hold her gaze.

"Well, you see, Emma ... Um... We were together a few months ago and now... She found out that um, she's pregnant" I dared to look into Alices eyes and the emotion behind them broke my heart as well as we already broken one. She managed to string together a sentence,

"Is it, definitely yours?" All hope left her face when I nodded, I took a small step forward to start my apology and explanation, but she took a step back distancing us even further,

"please just leave" She whispered on the verge of tears,

"But-"

"Just Go" she said more forcefully this time, and I did as she said and left. I could hear her crying as I left the room. I was greeted by a crowd of confused faces; "what did you do to her!?!?" Most of them demanded, I looked over at Brad and he gave me brief nod of understanding,

"We're leaving" I said, grabbing my coat and heading towards the doorway, James and Tristan unwillingly followed. Brad removed himself from the sofa of girls, I hadn't noticed before that he had his arm around Amber...

We got in the car and drove home in complete silence.

NOOOOO CHALICE!!! Drama huh? Niamh wrote this chapter and so i love it cos i love her chapters :) sorry for taking so long to upload, i didnt get my butt in gear for a while.... My bad...
