What was that? I swear I just saw a girl in that burnt down building. I cleared my mind and started heading into the wall. I looked around. Wow. I've never seen anything like it before. It looked like somewhere mom would've wanted for us. The houses were clean, no walkers in sight. It was breathtaking.
"You all will have to talk to Deanna." Said Erin. "Who's Deanna?!" Yelled Abraham. "She is the woman who decides whether or not you all get to stay," Replied a man I've never seen before. "But first I need you all to turn in your weapons." I looked at dad. He was cautious, I could tell.
"It's alright Nicholas," Said Erin. "Rick, you should probably speak to Deanna first." Dad scratched his cheek and looked at me. He nodded. He handed me Judith and kissed my head.
"Okay. Come with me." Said Erin. After a while, everyone had been interviewed but me. Dad was waiting for Glenn to get done. We didn't know if I had to be interviewed or not. "Listen," Dad said. "I don't know about these people yet. At the same time, they seem good. I just want you to know, we might not stay. So don't get too attached. Okay?" I looked at him and nodded. "I'll stay safe dad."
Glenn walked out with Deanna behind him. "Carl, I'm ready to see you now." Deanna said. Glenn sat down next to me. "Don't worry," Said Glenn patting my back. "She's alright." I looked down and nodded. Dad tried to take Judith. "No. I want to bring her." Dad let her go. I walked in the house with Deanna behind me.
