I stood in astonishment at her. She was supposed to be dead. Me and Maggie were both there. "Carl?" She said looking at me. She slowly approached me until she stood one foot from me.
She placed a hand on my cheek. "Baby it is you!" She said. I hugged her tightly and she hugged me back. "How?" Maggie asked. Mom looked at her and stopped hugging me. "You didn't kill me when you cut the baby out of me." She said showing us her scar of where the knife drug across her stomach. "But, Carl shot you." Maggie said. "He missed." Mom said.
"Mom." I said. "Come with me and Maggie. Back home." Mom smiled and looked at Maggie. "Could you add one more to your journey back?" Mom asked. I smiled and looked at Maggie. Maggie laughed and nodded.
A few minutes later...
"If you ever need anything. Just come here." Said the Mayor. Mom nodded and got in the car. We started driving back home. "Who is still alive?" Mom asked Looking at me. "Dad, Carol, Glenn, Daryl, and a few others that you wouldn't know." I said. Mom nodded. The car started slowing down. "And we're out of gas." Said Maggie as the car stopped. "At least we are almost there." I said.
We all started walking towards Alexandria.
30 minutes later...
I could see the gate from where we were. We knocked on the gate and Erin opened it. "Welcome back." He said letting us in. "Who is this?" He pointed to my mom. Me and Maggie looked over. "This is Lori, Carl's mom." Maggie said. "Hello Lori. I'm Erin. Welcome to Alexandria." He said.
