It has been a few days since I saw Ron, Mikey, and Enid last. I was getting bored. I don't want to go to the school. It brings back too many memories.
I was so bored that I found an hourglass and I can't stop flipping it. I sighed every time I flipped it. I flipped it again and saw something in the corner of my eye.
I turned my head and saw Enid. She looked like she was being cautious. Where is she going? I walked up to the window and got on one knee.
Enid had two stakes that she stuck in the divet of the gates. She placed one foot on the walls hangover and pulled herself up to the first stake. Then, she pulled herself to the next hanging part of the gate, and then the next stake. She reached the top and climbed down from the other side. What is she doing? I chuckled. What if she gets hurt? No one is out there to save her if she gets in trouble. I have to go.
I ran upstairs and grabbed my hat and my plaid long sleeve shirt. I put on the shirt and ran downstairs to my knife and it's holder. I buckled the holder to my leg and stuck my knife in it.
I quickly ran out of the door and over the fence just like Enid did. I could see her from here still. She didn't go very far out. I followed her to a bunch of trees. She looked around and started running away. I ran after her but I lost her. I sighed.
After a little while of wandering around, I saw a little house. I walked to it and saw my dad. He looked at me angrily but soon got distracted by about 6 walkers coming towards us. "Get ready." Dad said. I pulled out my knife and stood beside him. I took a deep breath. One came at me so I stabbed him in the head. More and more started coming. Over 20 in all. "We need to get them away from home. Come on." Said dad. I nodded and followed him.
"Hey! Over here! Fresh meat right here. Come get it." I said. All of the walkers soon followed me and dad into the woods. I looked behind me making sure I don't run into anything. Dad clapped. "Come on. Keep up." He said. The walkers seemed like they were getting louder. I backed up and heard a groan behind me.
There was one right behind me. I tried moving forward but the other ones were there. I pushed the one behind me down but I was too slow. Another one made me fall on my back. My dad didn't see me. He was walking forward. "Dad! Help!" I yelled.
Soon, I realized that was a bad idea to yell because all of the walkers started coming at me.
I stabbed the one on top of me and it fell on me. It was too heavy to lift that quickly. I tried and tried to get it off but I couldn't. My dad killed 3 walkers coming at me. Another one almost bit me. Dad came and killed it. After a while, he got the two on top of me off of me. "You okay?" He asked. "I'm fine" I said out of breath. "Good. Come on. We have to run." He said pointing to the other walkers that he didn't kill. "Right. Let's go." I said.
