When I got to school I glanced at the cars clock and realized I was ten minutes late.  I had already texted Drake and told him I was late and he said he could sub for my class. He didn't have a first period class, luckily.  I told him that I had forgotten to pack a lunch for us, so I asked if he could sub for the rest of the class. I told him to just continue the game from yesterday and if they had extra time he could just answer questions about me, he was my fiancé after all. He told me I had forty five minutes, so I went back to the car and drove the short distance home.

When I got home I saw a truck parked outside my house. I quickly locked the car and went inside the house. When I got inside I smelled something burning. I ran to the kitchen to see what it was and to my surprise it was Dean taking something out of the oven and Casper sitting at the bar laughing at him.

“Dean what are you doing? What's going on?" I asked.

“Well, we were in town and thought we would visit. You weren’t home though so we grabbed the spare key behind the wreath on the door and came inside. You really need to find better places to hide that key. You’re going to get robbed one of these days" Casper says.

“Well," I said   "you couldn't have called first? And I think I know I need to hide it better that's the third place I've hide it." I tell them.

"Um, No because we wanted to surprise you but as you can tell I'm terrible at making cookies." he tells me, placing the burnt cookie tray in the sink.

I started laughing. I go towards the fridge and open it looking for the Chinese food. We had never gotten a chance to eat last night, so I was hoping to pack that as leftovers for lunch today. To my surprise there are no boxes.

"Dean, Casper, did you guys eat the Chinese food in the fridge?" they both look at me.

"Now if we knew there was Chinese food in the fridge we wouldn't have been burning down your house right now." Casper told me. I smile.

“Eve why can't you find your Chinese food?" Dean asks, confused. He crosses his hands across his broad chest and leans against the counter looking at me.

"Well yesterday," I began to say, I look away because the next part is going to be a little weird "Drake stayed the night last night and he must have gotten hungry and ate the leftovers. I was asleep."  I told them. They both raised an eyebrow and look at me.

"Oh, so he stays the night now." Casper teases me.

“Yeah, um, he's actually been staying the night for a while." I tell them, scratching my head. Making sure not to look into their eyes I stand on the other side of the kitchen facing them. Dean starts laughing.

"How long is a while?"  They ask.

"Like for a month and a half" I say, now looking towards the ground. Dean starts to laugh again.

"So when were you going to tell us." he asked, I look at him, he's pointing out my ring.

"Uh the next time I saw you. Look I was going to tell you, but I thought you would think it was too soon so, I was looking at... I don't know." I say honestly.  I guess I was scared to tell you guys. I didn't know what you would think of him." They both look at me and give me a huge hug and I’m engulfed in this massive bear hug and I can't get out. They start to laugh.

“Eve, we're happy for you. You finally found a great guy. We always knew you would get married to this guy. We knew you guys would really be with each other again. You guys loved each other in high school and we knew it wasn't going to end like that." Casper says. I smile.

"So, you guys approve then?” I ask, playing with my ring.

Dean chuckles, "of course we do, why wouldn't we." Casper says grinning that beautiful smile.

Then Dean looks at me seriously. “so, have you guys um, you know," he asks swallowing hard.

My face is red.

"Uh, yeah if you mean have we had sex. Then yeah, we have actually. We did in high school too. I just never told you guys.  I know you guys would have been disappointed or yell at me or give me some kind of speech, but yeah last night was the first time since high school."  I tell them. Avoiding all eye contact at this point, but I’m not the only one, their doing the same.

"Ahh that explains the flowers and the candles and why it smelled so weird in here, before Dean starting burning stuff. Eve, I didn't know you were romantic like that." Casper says.

“Well," I say “why would I ever be romantic with you guys, your my brothers." We all laugh.

I glance at the clock on the oven.

“Look I got to go. Drakes watching my class. I have ten minutes before my next class and I can't be late again." I say. "Would you boys like to join me and Drake for lunch?" I ask, smiling.

"Of course we would.  There’s food involved." Casper jokes.

"Ok, meet us in my class. You guys have to bring lunch though, because I don't have time to make lunch."

"Yeah we'll bring lunch." Dean says, smiling.

I grab my stuff and the papers that I had forgotten earlier and walk out the door.

“Oh yeah,” Casper says, “I think we're going to have to have a talk."

I didn't like where this was heading and I think I knew exactly what they were talking about.

I turn around.  I say throw the bags over my shoulder.

“if it's about you guys being hunters, I already know." I say and with that I walk out the door. I'm about to get into my car when they both walked out and look at me.

"How did you know that?" they say. Anger raging in their faces. I didn't answer. I didn't have time for this right now. "Eve who's car is that" Dean asks, yelling now. I look over at Casper, the usually rational brother.  Casper knows something's up.

"The cars Marks." I look at them apologetically. “We can talk about this later. Don't bring any of it up to Drake. I don't want him to know anything about this.  We can talk tonight after lunch and if you guys are too angry don't come for lunch." I say, feeling guilty. They look at each other than at me.

“Fine, but this is going to be one hell of a talk."   Dean says clenching his hands so tight their white.

Then With that I start the car and I leave.

This was going to be another remember able day.
