Today was Tuesday and I was sitting in my classroom grading the tests while the students continued reading The Great Gatsby. I told them that if they were good I would let them watch the new movie of it after they finished the book.

So far I had graded half of the tests. That was great progress for me, I usually took two days just to grade them, and it was only fourth period. So fifty tests down only fifty four more to go, yeah I had 104 students to teach every day.

All of a sudden I jump a little when my stomach starts growling out of nowhere. I smile and relax when I realize I'm just hungry. I grab a banana out of my lunch box and start eating it. I'm almost done with the banana when the bell rings for class to get out.

"Don't forget to read chapters four through six." I say the best I can with a full mouth.

I throw the banana peel away and quickly stuff the new nausea lollipops the doctor had recommended to me into my mouth. I called her yesterday night asking if there was anything to help with nausea and to my remarkable surprise there was. She told me to eat saltine crackers, drink peppermint tea and suck on the lollipops. Doing all of that had helped tremendously.

I'm just about to take out my lunch when the door burst open. I look and to my very surprise it was Sofia. I stand and open my arms wide for a hug from her. She opens her arms wide too and bear hugs me.

"Seriously where have you been? I haven't seen you for like six months. The last time I saw you was in June and it's.... November now." I say to her.

She pulls away from me and makes a sour face.

"Well it would help if you would have just picked up the phone and called me." She says. We both start laughing and I pull a chair over for her to come sit down next to me.

We both sit down and we just stare at each other in complete silence for a minute before we both try to speak.

"No, you first." I say. I was really scared to tell her about all the changes in my life recently.

"Well...." she shows me her left hand which now has a huge diamond ring on her ring finger.

"Ahh, your engaged?" I scream, maybe a little too loudly.

"Yeah that makes two of us now. Justin popped the question on Sunday night. He took me on a romantic boat ride and then just proposed." she tells me excitedly.

"I'm so happy for you. I have so much to tell you though." I say to her.

She puts her elbows on the table and rests her head on her hands. "I'm listening babe. Tell me everything. We have catching up to do." She replies.

"Well don't interrupt till the end ok." she nods her head. "Ok well I'm no longer with Drake. "

"What!?" she screams.

"Hey, I said wait till the end." I remind her.

"Ok, sorry, carry on." she says.

"Turns out he cheated on me, but I also cheated on him. We, well mainly him, ended up calling off the engagement. After that me and the other guy ended up getting together. Then my principal ended up asking me to do a huge favor for this school. It turns out we are in a bit of a budget dilemma. So they have different places doing studies at our school in return for money. "I tell her.

"Wow, so why were you involved?" she asks.

"I'm getting there. They asked me to fake being pregnant so they could do a study on how pregnant women are treated differently in a work place. I ended up tricking Drake into thinking I was pregnant and the other guy. It was funny for a while." I say, but then I pause because the shocking part is coming next.
