We walked into the store and immediately I was in heaven. I looked around the surprisingly empty store and started walking down the aisles examining every dress I saw. He sighed and sat down on those benches they have to try shoes on.
"What" I asked turning towards him. He looked up smiling and shook his head.
“Nothing. Just don't take too long. I don't want to be here all day." he explained, standing walking towards a rack of dresses. I watched him cautiously as he pulled out a short ruffled dress. It was silver, white, and gray. Each ruffle was overlapping the other. It was cute and I actually wanted to try it on.
“I want to try that on, please." he put it in front of him looking me up and down. I shivered "How are you so good at this?" I asked. Taking it out of his hand reading the size. Grateful that it was actually my size I walked towards the dressing rooms to try it on. He followed me like a lost puppy.
"I have four sisters and I was the only boy. I think I know a thing or two about fashion." he said
I put it on struggling to get the zipper up. I sighed; shy to have to ask him to zip it for me.
"Mark?" I said.
"Huh? What’s wrong?" he asked sounding a little concerned.
“Oh" I giggled. "I just need help with the zipper" I said. The door knob jingled.
"Uh... you have to open the door." he told me.
I opened the door and turned around holding the front of my dress up. I heard him close the door behind me and I turned red. I looked down standing there awkwardly waiting for him to zip up the dress.
It didn't hit me till just then that the dresses zipper ended really low and I was wearing a thong which meant he was staring at my butt.
I turned around, my face as red as a tomato. He looked up at me smirking.
"It’s not funny you sicko." I said, slapping his chest, regretting it almost immediately because my dress fell off exposing me in front of him. All I was wearing was my thong because my bra wouldn't fit and look good in the dress.
He stared. My eyes wide with horror.
"I didn't think I’d get a show too." he joked. Bad move though because I wasn't in the mood right now for it. I lifted the dress up and threw it at him putting on my other clothes. He just sat there and watched.
"Hey. Calm down. I'm sorry" he replied looking at the dress in his hands.
I quickly put my shoes on, totally not realizing I had put them on the wrong feet. I took two steps out of the room and whap, I went crashing down. My arms flailed back and forth as I tried to put my arms out to brace myself. I closed my eyes ready to hit the floor. Just a second before I actually hit the floor though two muscular arms wrapped around me catching me. I let out a breath of air I hadn't realized I had been holding in and slowly opened my eyes.
He looked down at me with a sheepish grin" I just saved your life." he said our faces way to close. I turned my head away awkwardly.
"Thanks." I mumbled to him as he helped me up. I went back to the room and put my shoes on correctly and he handed me my purse.
I looked at his face noticing a light red spot on his forehead. I just stared at it and he looked at me weirdly. I pointed to it and he frowned.
"What?" he asked.
"Did I do that?" I questioned.
He stepped in front of the mirror and laughed,
"Yeah you hit me with your purse while I was trying to catch you. What do you have in there? Rocks?" he said between laughs.
