I would advise you to listen to the music, especially during the ending of this chapter. It adds much more vibes to it.

Ty looked at me and grinned. "I didn't tell you? We got invited to a party tomorrow."

I frowned. "You mean you got invited. Not me." I said. He laughed.

"Well I did. But no one said I couldn't bring someone extra." He winked. "Especially someone special."

I looked away, ready to start giving the excuse. "Well, I can't go."

He didn't even look at me. "Yeah, you can."

"My parents don't let me go to parties. I have really strict ones. They won't let me go out."

Ty rolled his eyes. "You don't have to ask them. Tomorrow is Friday, you work on Fridays. Just act like you're going to work. Simple as that."

"So don't go to work?" I asked and shook my head. "Okay if this party starts late, then that's probably the time my shift usually ends. And my parents knows when it ends."

Ty opened his mouth then stopped. He then opened them again, and this time he spoke. "Just tell them you got extra hours. I'll make sure to drop you back home at least before eleven. All you have to do is change to the dress when I pick you up, and when it's time to leave, you can get back in your work clothes."

He gave me perfect steps. But I still had to try and show him any impossibilities.  "And if my parents see your car?"

He gave me an impatient look. "A Co worker dropped you off."

Okay. But, "you're a-" I stopped myself. This was going to sound so lame.

He walked to a table in the Subway section and I heard him laugh. "Are your parents that strict, to the point where you can't be in a car with a boy?"

I looked away and blushed. "Yeah."

He laughed even more. I felt embarrassed. My parents treated me as if I was some type of a baby. Ty was making me feel even more stupid. "Ty, stop."

"What? I'm not doing anything. "He laughed and I glared at him. "You stop. It's not a bad thing. Your parents just care about their baby girl."

I shook my head. I don't even think that's why they were like that. It seems to me that they just didn't want me to end up like her.

Ty told me to wait at the table and asked me for my order. I told him and soon he left, to get our sandwiches.

When he came back, he placed our food on the table. "So, Sabienne, I don't care about your parents. You're going to the party."

I rolled my eyes. The only parties I ever went to were the ones my relatives threw. The others were birthday parties that my friends or other little relatives had, back when we were way younger. I've never been to a party full of teenagers and alcohol, and drugs.

I used to be embarrassed at that. And if it wasn't for my parents stopping me, I would have went to them. But I soon had stopped caring. I didn't want to be surrounded by the drugs and the dirty music. It wasn't for me.

But here I was, with Ty insisting that I go. It looked like nothing I say would stop him.

But, if my parents find out...I would be dead. Was this party even worth the risk? It probably was not. So, I couldn't get myself mixed in this mess.

"Look, Ty, I can't. It's not just my parents. I don't even wanna go. I don't even like parties."

Ty placed a hand on his heart as of he was offended. "That's a lie. Dont speak like that. And if it's not a lie, that's only because you have never been to one."
