When Glenn and I got back we pulled up to a full screaming match between Shane and Merle. Daryl stood close by cross bow ready to strike. I grabbed my bag of assorted canned goods and raced towards them.

"What the hell is going on?" I yelled trying to stay out of the way in case Merle started throwing punches, which looked like it would happen any second.

"Stay out of this sugar tits, don't want ya breaking a nail." I was about to lunge at the larger man but someone grabbed me by the waist and pulled me back. Turning, I glared at Glenn who had a worried look on his face. My glare softened and we both watched what was happening with the other two.

"If you keep acting like this you're out of the group Merle, you and your brother!"

"You need us! Ya don't know the first thing bout huntin!"

"I'm sure we could manage! Sam, you know how to hunt, don't you?" All eyes fell on me, I looked over at Daryl, I didn't want him to leave, he couldn't leave me here. Even though I was still so mad at him, I lied for him.

"I'm not very good, Daryl and Merle are amazing hunters Shane. Merle may be a complete asshole, but he's right." I hated saying that, Merles right. It left a horrible taste in my mouth.

"Excuse me?" Merle snapped

"You heard me." I spat back, inwardly proud of myself for the comeback.

"Whatever, keep the fucking rednecks." Shane walked off mumbling and Merle walked up to me with a smug look on his face, I'm starting to already regret my decision.

"Awh, you do care baby doll. I'll leave my tent open for ya later." He winked and started to walk away, the whole crowd was gone except Daryl, Glenn, Merle, and I.

"I didn't do it for you." I spat grabbing my bag and walking to the kitchen area. Before I knew it someone was yelling at me from behind me.

"The hell was that suppose ta mean?" An angry looking Daryl crossed his arms and stared at me as I turned around. I rolled my eyes and turned back around, putting our stuff in the storage box we had by the tree.

Daryl turned me around and pushed me against the tree making me gasp. Glenn started saying something but I couldn't hear, all I saw was Daryls face leaning close to mine.

"I don't need your help, I can take care of myself." He hissed, I frowned and whispered only loud enough for him to hear.

"I just didn't want you to go." Did I seriously just say that? What's wrong with me?

His eyes softened for a moment and his grip loosened but not even a second later his eyes turned hard again and he walked off. Glenn came to my aid, making sure I was alright.

"I'm fine Glenn." Sighing I bent down and started picking up the things I'd dropped. Glenn bent down to help me, I smiled and thanked him.

"I think Daryl has a thing for you."

"If that's what you want to call it." Rolling my eyes I shook my head as Glenn grinned at my comment.

Daryl doesn't have a thing for anyone, I'd be surprised if he even had feelings.

"Alright, who's going?" Merle crossed his arms and stared at me when I shook my head. I'm not going on any runs with him, he'd leave me to die in a heart beat. Andrea, Glenn, Morales, Jacqui, and T-Dog were the only ones going with him, brave little souls. I waved to Glenn and wished him luck as they loaded up into the van we found only a week earlier. "Good luck." I whispered to all of them as they drove away, pushing the hair out of my face I turned to Lori who was already looking at me.
