It has been a couple of weeks and Josh still wasn't speaking to me, in fact, he hasn't said more than two words to me since I told him about Olivia. It was Saturday afternoon so I decided to get up and get dressed, my mom has been telling me that it would be a good idea to get a job. I was talking to the nurse at Olivia's daycare and she said there was a spot open in the 2-year-old section, so I decided to go in for an interview. I got in the shower and when I got out I put on a summer dress with blue sandals, I then curled my hair and put on light make-up. I got Olivia ready, I put her in a white floral top, flower shorts, and her brown sandals.

I ran downstairs and told my mom I was taking Olivia to the daycare for my interview, she said that it was good I was finally taking her advice in getting a job. I kissed her on the cheek and walked to the daycare. After the interview, it was about 5:30, when I left it felt like I might have gotten the job and was super excited. I was walking home when I noticed a frozen yogurt place across the street, I was surprised that I've never seen it before because I've walked down this street every day. I walked in and went to the machine and saw that they had cookies & cream, I grabbed a bowl and filled it all the way to the top then topped it with oreo crumbs and m&m's. I walked up to the register, paid for it, and sat at a table. I was on my phone and feeding Olivia when I heard my name.
Matty- "Maya?"
I turned around and saw Matty, I was super excited to finally see a familiar face. I ran up and gave him the biggest hug.
Maya- "Matty! What are you doing here?"
Matty- "My aunt lives out here and she just had her baby so my mom wanted to come out and help so I decided to come along hoping to see you."
Maya- "Ohh my gosh!! I'm so excited you're here."
We sat down and he took Olivia out of her stroller and sat her on his lap and her face immediately lighted up, he was so good with her. We sat and talked for a while and then went back to my house.
Matty- "Wow Maya this house is amazing."
Maya- "Thanks but it's not all that."
Matty- "Hey Maya do you think it's possible if we could spend some time alone?"
Maya- "Sure I'll ask my mom if she could take Olivia to see your mom."
Katy- "You could ask me what?"
Maya- "Well I was wondering if maybe you could take Olivia over to Matty's hotel to visit his mom for a few hours."
Katy- "Sure Maya, you're lucky I love you and this little munchkin."
She took Olivia from Matty and headed out, I was a little nervous to be alone with Matty.
Maya- "So what did you want to talk about what we had to be alone?"
Matty- "Well I kind of started talking to this girl."
Maya- "Ohh that's new."
Matty- "You're mad aren't you?"
Maya- "I'm not mad. Why would I be mad?"
Matty- "Because I didn't tell you and you told me about what's his face."
Maya- "His name was Josh and we aren't together anymore. Why are you all of a sudden telling me about this?"
Matty- "Well we kind of slept together."
Maya- "Wow."
Matty- "I'm so sorry Maya I should've told you."
Maya- "Matty there's nothing to be sorry about."
Matty- "Are you mad?"
Maya- "No I'm not mad, as long as it wasn't resent."
Matty- "No it wasn't resent it was a few weeks after you left."
Maya- "Okay, but was she any good?"
Matty- "Honestly?"
Maya- "Yes honestly."
Matty- "No."
Maya- "Wow that's funny."
Matty- "It's not funny.
He started moving closer and all I could do was freeze.
Matty- "Sorry."
Maya- "Don't be sorry, just kiss me."
I whisper before leaning in as he starts kissing me, and I kiss back immediately. The kiss got heated and soon I felt his hand underneath my dress as he trails it up and down my thigh. He pulls away and pulls me onto his lap and I wrap my legs around him. I could feel him smiling against my lips, as his hands grab at my waist. I let out a breathy laugh as I fiddle with his belt.
Matty- "Eager much?"
I cuddled next to him resting my head on his bare chest. I couldn't believe I just did that what about Josh. I was pulled away from my thoughts when Matty started talking
Matty- "I really missed you, Maya."
Maya- "I missed you too Matty and so did Olivia."
Matty- "So what do we do from here?"
Maya- "I don't know, but we should get up before my mom and Olivia show up."
I jumped in the shower and Matty jumped in after me, we threw on our comfy clothes and decided to go downstairs to watch a movie and eat ice cream. We were watching Neighbors 2. I guess I fell asleep cuddled next to Matty, when I woke up I was in my bed, I looked over and saw Olivia laying in between Matty and me, this sight put the biggest smile on my face and I fell back to sleep.
