I woke up this morning feeling better than I did for the past 5 ½ months, my morning sickness finally passed, Josh and I were in a good place, Matty has been around throughout the entire pregnancy and for Olivia, Missy is excited to be an aunt again, and I get to find out the sex of the baby today. I got out of bed and looked at my phone to see messages from Missy, Matty, Josh, and my mom.
*Messages*
Mom- What time is your doctor's appointment today?
Josh- Good Morning beautiful, just checking to see how you're feeling this morning. I wanted to see if u wanted me at the appt. If not it's cool just let me know
Missy- How's it going with your "boyfriends" Lmao
Matty- Hey Maya just wanted to see if u needed a ride to the appt. Hit me back
As I read the messages another popped up but not from anyone I knew
Unknown Number- Hey Maya just seeing how you're doing, I heard about everything going on in your life and wanted to see if you needed anything.
As I read the message it was signed at the bottom (S.H). "S.H. Shawn Hunter," I thought to myself, I couldn't believe Shawn was checking on me. I responded to all the messages telling them Matty was going to take me and they were welcome to come if they wanted. I finally got up and got myself dressed, I threw on a grey sweater dress and black legging since that's all I could really wear, I threw my hair in a bun, and my grey fur slides and made my way to Olivia's room. When I walked in I could see her standing in her crib with the biggest smile on her face. I picked her up changed her diaper and put her in a white onesie with black pants and a cute red and black checkered vest she got for her birthday.

When I was done I looked at the clock on her wall to see that it was 10:30 am and my doctor's appointment was in two hours and I still had to eat breakfast and feed Olivia. As I made my way downstairs I heard the buzzer to the gate go off, I put Olivia in her highchair and went over to the TV to see Matty standing at the gate, I pushed the button to let him in and unlocked the door, and made my way to the kitchen to make something for us to eat.
Matty- "Hey Maya how you feeling?"
Maya- "Hey, I'm feeling better than I was a few months ago. You want something to eat?"
Matty- "Sure what you making?"
Maya- "I don't know yet, what did u want?"
Matty and I decided to make breakfast sandwiches and I gave Olivia some mashed bananas and strawberries. When we finished eating it was 11:30 and we had to head to the doctor's office. I called my mom, Missy, and Josh on the way to the doctor's and told them they could wait outside, when we pulled up I saw Josh standing outside the hospital waiting for me, Matty took Olivia out of her car seat and put her in the stroller as I made my way over to Josh. We arrived 15 minutes earlier than my appointment so I filled out the questionnaire the doctor gave me and just waited for my name to get called.
Nurse- "Maya Hart, the doctors ready for you."
Maya- "That's me."
Nurse- "The room's only big enough for a few people."
Missy & Josh- "You guys go ahead we'll watch Olivia."
Maya- "Mom you want to come?"
Katy- "Sure."
Matty, my mom, and I made our way to the room for the ultrasound. When we walked I made my way over to the table since I already knew what to do.
Nurse- "So do we want to find out the sex of the baby?"
Maya- "Actually my mom will be the one finding out the sex for us."
Nurse- "Okay so I'll just put the pictures in an envelope for you and you guys can do what you want to do with it."
Maya, Matty, & Katy- "Okay thank you."
After the ultrasound Matty wanted to spend some time with Olivia, my mom and Missy had to go to the store for the gender reveal, and Josh wanted to go to the ice cream shop. The day went on and eventually, we all made our way back to the house.
Two Days Later
It was finally the day of my gender reveal party and I was so excited, I wanted another girl but of course Matty wanted a boy. I got up and threw on a white dress with a tan sweater and made my way downstairs to see Olivia in a cute big sister shirt with a floral skirt and matching headband.

When I went outside I was surprised to see everything set up in the back and front of the house, there were signs made stations with different activities and of course food. I couldn't believe my mom and Missy planned everything and had time to set up in just two days. The backyard was decorated with blue and pink decorations, boy and girl treats, and boxes with balloons in them for the gender. It was already 12:30 and people were starting to arrive, Lucas, Farkle, Riley, and Smackle showed up along with Shyla and other kids from school, I was even shocked to see some of mine and Matty's friends from back home show up. The party went on for hours and before I know it my mom is gathering everyone around for the reveal, she pulled the boxes over to us and told me and Matty that on the could of three we were going to open the box and see pink balloons for a girl and blue balloons for a boy. As I looked around I could see everyone who really meant something to me standing around me and before I knew it, I heard everyone counting down... 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4,
3, 2, 1, as I opened the box and heard the horns I see...
Just kidding you didn't think I was going to tell you guys right now, did you? Nope, you guys are going to have to wait till the next blog and my baby shower to find out the gender.
