Blog 400: Blank Space

Maya's P.O.V

I woke up to my alarm playing Blank Space by Taylor Swift it was 6:30 and I had to get ready for my first day at my new school Abigail Adams High and trust me I wasn't looking forward to it. I still don't understand why my mom and I moved from Philadelphia to New York I loved my old school and Missy, it was the worst day of my life when I found we had to leave.

*Flashback*
Maya- "Missy why don't you just go for it and ask out Donnie? We both know you like him?"

Missy- "Shut up Maya I don't like him."

Maya- "You're blushing you totally fucking like him."

Missy- "Okay fine maybe I like him a little."

Maya- "I knew it!"

Katy- "Maya honey I'm home and we need to talk, oh hi Missy how's your mom?

Missy- "She's fine mama, I should get home see you tomorrow Maya. Bye, miss Hart."

Katy & Maya- "Bye!"

Maya- "Soo what did you have to talk to me about?"

Katy- "Maya honey I got a new job."

Maya- "That's great mom!"

Katy- "Yea... the only problem is."

Maya- "Is what?"

Katy- "The job is in New York!"

Maya- "New York?! Mom, we can't move to New York our whole lives are here."

Katy- "I know and I'm sorry sweetheart I don't want to but it's an offer I just can't turn down."

Maya- "I get it. When are we leaving?"

Katy- "Two days."

Maya- "Two days!!?"
*Flashback over*
I almost forgot to introduce myself my name is Maya Penelope Hart I'm 16 years old and I have a blog called THAT GIRL. I live in a mansion with my mom Katy and 4-month-old daughter Olivia May, yea you read right I have a daughter I had her when I was 15 with my now ex-boyfriend Matty. My dad left when I was 5, he said he was going for a walk but he never came back, but mom always told me to remember that is wasn't my fault. I loved my mom she tried really hard to make sure we all had what we wanted and as you see she did a pretty damn good job taking care of the three of us on her own.
