Maya's P.O.V
I walked into the office and saw an older lady with glasses, she looked at me smiled and pointed at a seat for me to sit in.
Counselor- "Hello Maya I'm Ms. Martin your guidance counselor."
Maya- "Hi nice to meet you."
Ms. Martin- "Okay so I'm going to keep this short and simple."
Maya- "Okay."
Ms. Martin- "Okay so first I need you to pick your extracurricular activities."
Maya- "And what exactly would qualify as an extracurricular activity?"
Ms. Martin- "Well those can be any clubs, afterschool activities, and sports."
Maya- "Sorry to keep asking but examples would be..?"
Ms. Martin- "It's no problem sweetheart. Clubs include Spanish, Indian, book, science, ext. Afterschool activities include our volunteer group and our brother-sister group. This is basically where we take you to a children's shelter and you choose a kid to mentor and take under your wing like a little brother or sister. And or sports include cheer, football, basketball, softball, baseball, dance, soccer, volleyball, ext."
Maya- "Okay and how many do I have to choose exactly?"
Ms. Martin- "Well looking at your schedule you have Honors English Lit, Honors Pre-Calculus, Chemistry, and U.S History so you can pick two or maybe even three extracurricular activities."
Did I mention that I'm super good in school, even when I had Olivia my grades went from straight A's to A's and B's and it stayed like that for a while until I picked them up again?
Maya- "Okay so I'm going to go with the brother/sister group, I'm going to try-out for cheer and maybe even volleyball."
Ms. Martin- "Okay Ms. Hart so I looked into everything and there is space for all the activities you wanted, so I'm going to go ahead and print out your schedule."
