No. 29: Back to the norm

Elliot's POV
As I looked out at the horizon on the fourth day id been gone, I realized something. All people have different sides to them. Take me for example, im a mess, one day Im one emotion, the next im a different emotion and then some days my emotions hit me all at once. There's no in between, its like the waves. One wave will hit smoothly on the sand, the next right in the middle, and the last will hit with enough force to knock you down. If there's one thing I've learned over these past few days its that clearing my head was a good choice because today I catch a plane and go back to LA to see everyone else. They already left, I knew by there constant Messages, that I still haven't responded too. Even Spencer's, which was pretty hard but she knew I would run without telling her goodbye. Plus im sure that Jenn and Andrea have told them im fine, I have talked to them. I stood from where I was sitting with a sigh, I will miss this. My phone which I've had on do not disturb, lights up again with messages flashing across the screen.
4:00 Am, gosh im so done with this book sleeping problem.

Is on my screen without scrolling. With a sigh I get in my car and start to the airport there's one closer to me then the one in Charlotte so I make the 2 hour drive to the airport. The plane ride was boring as ever even with my attempts at watching a movie on Netflix. I responded to a few tweets and snapchated a little bit before the plane finally landed on the runway at LAX. My plane landed right on time at 10 am, two hours till the show. At least im not jet lagged, that's a plus. Unlocking my apartment, I didn't expect anyone to be home, however when I open the door Laurens there standing with a smile. "Lauren!" I yelled as she hugged me. "I've miss you E."
"Me too L." I said stepping back from her hug. "Now we have an event to get ready for, chop chop, we have to hurry if we are going to make it on time."  Lauren said motioning upstairs. I trotted up to my room and into my shower. After shower I did my make up and picked my outfit and by that time it was right on time to leave. "Elliot lets go!" Lauren yells and I run down the stairs. With this being the leg of the tour we are doing over since I missed them, me, Andrea, Jenn, and Lauren are the headliners but the other guys are going to be there too. We get to the event and quickly run backstage where only Jenn and Andrea are. "Took you long enough." Jenn said and we all laughed, the boys, Spence, and Mahogany were already on stage. "Andrea Russet!" Mahogany screams and Andrea runs to the stage Jenn follows soon after and then Mahogany sighs. "Im sorry guys but unfortunately Elliot is not here today, maybe next time." The crowd boos as to me not being there and I then turn my mic on making my way up to the stage. "Now you guys didn't think id leave you hanging again did you?" Screams filled the room and my best friend puts her arms around me. "I knew you would come back." She whispered in my ear. "Did you really think id leave without saying goodbye?" I whispered back. "What's up LA?" Cameron yelled and screams came from everywhere.

And there he was. Silently staring across the room at me with guilt. I stared back but with anger, the others were watching us intently, seeing who would break eye contact first or in my case, snap first. The backstage, normally loud with energy after a show, was quiet minus a few whispers and the tension between Hayes and I. We all knew I was challenging him to say something, a peep and id come unglued. I dare you, I said with my eyes, wanting him to bite the hook I was throwing out to him. "Okay that's enough you two, I can't take the tension anymore. Come on Gracie we have plans remember?" Mahogany said making Hayes lose his eye contact on me. That's right I win you asshole. "Fine," I said narrowing my eyes at Hayes for the final time and allowing Mahogany to turn me towards the door. "Wait, Hayes dear," I said turn turning around to look at him one last time.He looked back at me with an ounce of hope as I sighed. I smiled at him a he smiled back right before I threw my middle finger up and then walk out the door. That boy can kiss my ass. "Are you good now?" Mahogany asks as she starts her car. "Yeah thanks for saving me back there." She nods, and turns the radio up as we jam on the way into town. Originally we had all planned to eat dinner together but not anymore, a day with Lox and Spence whos meeting us there is needed. I know im going to have to talk to him sooner or later but im picking later, that or punch his face in. Friday and Saturdays tend are the nights to party, meaning everyone is trying to get somewhere so, traffic is terrible, by the time we get to Chipolae its 8:00 and the event ended at six, but to our advantage we were the only people there. Spencer came in right after us with a sigh, "We are taking the back roads back to your house Lox, just telling you."

The next morning I had to leave early and head to the studio to film a colab with my girls. It had been forever since we all hung out and lets be honest it was my fault. "What's up guys im Andrea and im here with," I said pointing to the girls to say there names. "Lauren!" "JennXPenn!" "Elliot!" We all laughed. "Alright now today we are going to be playing truth or dare because we are sister we stick together," We launch into singing cheetah girls before continuing. "The first truth is who is the last person you texted and what?" She asked looking at me. "Okay well I texted Tristan and said ugh...okay." The girls continued with their last texts and soon we were on the last question. We let Andrea do her outro and then hung out for a bit before we left to go back to the house. When we pulled up I was shocked to see the familiar Jeep sitting in the driveway. No one was in it so I guess he used his key and my thoughts were answered when I opened the door to find Nash, Matt, and Tez sitting in our living room. And there he was, standing in the doorway to the kitchen across from the front door. "What the hell are you doing in my house Benjamin?" I was beyond pissed.

Guys honestly this chapter sucks but I promise it will get better, I've got ideas for what's going to happen but I have to build up to that so please bear with me. Thanks loves!
