I woke up on the floor next to Katy who was still sound asleep. Katy had a faint cute smile on her face. She looked so happy, like she had just won a Grammy. So I guess that our problems are solved. I touched her hand softly, finding her freezing cold. I ran back to my room to grab a blanket, and to see if my parents were back home or not. I covered Katy with the blanket and then checked my phone. Mom is still at the mall finding stuff for me. Sitting next to Katy and watching her while she's sleeping was simply adorable.

It was just a while after when Katy woke up, which was completely my fault. I dropped the frying pan onto the floor when I was about to put it into the dishwasher. Katy shot right up.

'What the hell was that? Baby is that you? Oh my gosh, are you hurt?' Katy shouted while running around, trying to find me.

'I'm fine! I just dropped a frying pan. You worry so much!

'I am your mother! What do you expect? Are you in the kitchen? Need any help?'

'Nu-uh! Don't you dare come in! I am making something! Sit on the sofa and don't move around!'

 'Fine...'

'Just one last touch, and... done!' Since last time Katy almost burned down the house when she attempted to make a simple pizza, I have decided that I am never ever going to let her cook again, well at least at my place. My mom said she wouldn't be back until after dinner time, so we have the whole afternoon to ourselves and I was going to cook. I made some salad, steak and lastly, a surprise for Katy for lunch. I brought everything out to the dinning table except the surprise, then went to the lounge to fetch Katy.

'Close your eyes, Katy.'

'Why? What are you going to do to me? And do I smell food?'

'No! I was just casually sleeping in the kitchen, of course I was cooking! Come on! Close your eyes!'

'Okay, fine...'

Katy closed her eyes shut and I held her hand and led her to the dinning room.

'Open your eyes now, I hope you like it...'

Katy opened her eyes, and instantly a stream of tears started to flow.

'Oh my gosh! Is... Is this for me... no, like for us? Thank you so much... Did you cook all this?'

'Yes, I did. I really hope that you will like it...'

'I will, thank you so much baby, I love you...'

Katy's eyes sparkled with tears while we sat down. I didn't do much, really. All I made was a salad and a steak with gravy sauce forming a heart. If this can make Katy this happy, I couldn't imagine how she would react when I give her my always well-planned Mother's Day present. Katy took a lot of photos before she laid her fork into the food. She took a bite, and immediately, tears started flooding out of her eyes.

'Baby... this is amazing! I love it!'

'Katy, please stop crying. I made all this to sort of make it up to you as I was so impolite last time. I'm not saying that I will only make this to apologize, but... um... I can make this all the time if you like... This is supposed to make you feel happy, not to cry again... I'm sorry...' At this point, Tears started falling too.

'Baby, don't be sorry, these are tears of happiness... And don't make this all the time, because then it will be less precious...'

'Okay then, if that is what you want.'

We finished our lunch and it was only around one. I loaded the dishwasher and Katy said that we could watch a movie of my choice. A brilliant idea stroked me and I ran up the stairs and grabbed my favourite of all times. Katy Perry: Part Of Me The Movie. I held the DVD in front of Katy's face and I shot her an evil smirk. I love her movie so much. I have watched it for at least fifteen times already, but I never get bored of it.
