NEW CHAPTER!!!! YAY!!!!!

Yeah, I'm kinda hyper. Anyhoo, this introduction, I thought that I'd go over each character, who will play them, and what that actor is best known for. After all, quite a few people don't know of some of the actors or what they look like. So, without further ado...

River Elliot will be played by Logan Lerman (The Lightning Thief), Layla Elliot will be played by Mackenzie Foy (Breaking Dawn), Meaghan Burke will be played by Kay Panabaker (George in Nancy Drew; in a number of TV shows), Brock Morris will be played by Chord Overstreet (Glee), Ethan Reeding will be played by Sean Flynn (Zoey 101), Arabella will be played by Taylor Swift (country singer), Griffin will be played by Ross Lynch (Austin & Ally), Jenna Hardwick will be played by Elizabeth Gillies (Victorious), and Hayley Harrison will be played by Laura Prepon (when she was redhead on That 70's Show).

So, now that you know who's who...ENJOY THE SHOW!!!!

~Chapter Six~

“Dude, get her over here,” Brock urged at lunch.

I had discovered in my first two blocks that Erin was placed in every single one of my classes, including my free period and lunch hour. Brock and Ethan had been pestering me in the halls and in the cafeteria line, insisting that I invite her to eat with our group. Their reasoning was that a hot, sweet, and smart girl like her couldn’t be passed up. I wasn’t sure that it was such a good idea for us to welcome her. After seeing Meaghan’s obvious distaste for Erin, I didn’t want to cause a scene.

“I don’t know, guys,” I told them as we headed towards our table. “Meaghan didn’t seem to like her when we met her this morning.”

Ethan rolled his eyes. “Who cares what Meaghan thinks?” he scoffed. “She’s stupid! Get Erin to sit with us, Riv!”

“We will forever be in your debt,” Brock declared dramatically.

            “Fine,” I sighed. “I will.”

We reached the table then and sat at our regular three seats. I was in the middle of Ethan and Brock, surrounded on one side by the athletes and the other side by the musicians. “River!” Meaghan squealed, jumping up and grabbing me. I stood up, anticipating a repeat of the electrifying kiss from that morning. This time, however, was disappointing. Meaghan met my lips with as much enthusiasm and passion as earlier, but it felt wrong somehow. It was still pleasant and enjoyable, having a gorgeous girl like Meaghan in my arms, but the hungry yearning was gone. I could feel in my core that Meaghan and I shouldn’t be doing this. Conflicting emotions spiraled through my system. I was attracted to Meaghan, yet at the same time…I didn’t love her, even though I had confessed my love that morning. I couldn’t understand the sudden change. What was wrong with me?

When we came up for air, gasping, Meaghan grinned at me. I smiled weakly back, my chest heaving. I noticed the entire cafeteria gaping at us, as if we were the entertainment for the day. “Thanks honey,” Meaghan whispered, turning around and sashaying to her seat. Hayley and Jenna shot me looks of cold resentment, making me remember the old saying, “If looks could kill.” I grimaced, feeling the sheer power of their hateful stares, and wondered why they suddenly despised me.

“Dude, what was that?” Ethan hissed, enraged.

“Stop getting distracted and get Erin over here!” Brock added, barely suppressing his impatience.
