(Well here we go! Hope you like it!)

I swing my seraph blade blindly through the air. We can't even see this demon, let alone know what it is. The only time we can see it is when it attacks. And where we're fighting we can barely see it. In case you didn't know we're fighting it in an abandoned warehouse. And by we I mean Jace, Isabelle, Alec, and me.

"Clary," Jace yells at me, "look out!" But I heard him too late.

The demon scratches me and disappears once more. I grip my arm where it slashed me, but I keep swinging, trying to at least make my blade make contact with the demon. I suddenly hear this gurgled screech. I look over at Isabelle who has the demon caught in her whip. I go to take a step towards the demon, black and red splotches start to block my vision. I feel my knees buckle beneath me. What is happening? I was perfectly fine. I hear high pitched ringing and warbled voices, or what at least sound sort of like voices. I feel the seraph blade slip out of my hands.

Strong hands grip me and pick me up. "Clary," I hear someone say. It's Jace. "C'mon Clary, stay with me." I have no clue what's happening.

"What's going on?" I try my best to say, but it feels my tongue is made of stone. But somehow Jace seemed to hear, or understand me. "You're gonna be okay. Clary, you're gonna be okay," Jace tells me. With how he said it I'm not quite sure whether or not he was trying to reassure me or himself.

I look up him. With what I can see through the splotches, is that Jace is carrying me. His golden hair is damp with sweat. It sticks to his forehead, the ends of his hair already starting to curl from the moisture. His hair isn't naturally curly, but now I'm not all too sure that that it was or not. I'm pretty sure it's not, but how can I trust my judgment?

"Jace," I try my best to make out, "we have to stop. Please put me down."

"Clary, you're going to die," he says, it sounds like he's on the verge of crying, "we need to get you help."

I grab his arm, "we need to stop," I say once more.

After a second or two Jace nods, and he sets me on the ground. I don't even know where we are, but it's outside that's for sure. I can see the stars shinning in the sky. They've never been this clearer before. I hear footsteps coming towards us, but they're a few yards away.

My vision starts to go dark. "I love you," I say to Jace with as much strength that I can muster before the darkness overcomes me.

Falling, Falling through the darkness. Falling, Falling through the endless dark.

(Well that's my prologue! I hope you liked it! If you want to leave a comment, please do! And if I need to fix things, please tell me. Just don't be too harsh on me please!)
