"I think I've gotten some back some of my memory," I tell her, choosing my words carefully and saying them slow.

Mom stares at me in shock, "what you you mean?"

"I remembered something. Well it was more like a few minutes of a day in the past."

 "What exactly did you remember?"

"I was with Jace. We went out and about I think. We went to the park and spent some time together..."

Mom suddenly stands up. She leaves the bed and heads for the door.

"Where are you going?" I ask getting scared. Why on earth would I get scared of my mother leaving the room?

"I need to go tell Maryse that you've recovered some of your memory. Maybe you might gain them all back on your own," she explains before she hurries out of the room.

I let out an exasperated sigh. Everyone always has to leave me by myself. I twiddle with my fingers, unsure of what else to do.

I sit there, well more like LAID there in a mixture of silence and boredom, for oh I would say about ten minutes. How on earth does it take ten minutes to tell someone something? I continue to wait for a answer. After about ten minutes Maryse and my mother barge into the room. I have this strange feeling that they're both going to bombard me with questions. Typical.

What surprises me though is that they don't say anything, but instead they help me out of the bed. I guess I could say they sort of pushed me out of the room. What's going on? Soon we end up in the library. Everyone is there.... except Jace.

Just the thought of him makes my heart flutter and my heartbeat speed up. From what I can pick out from the memory that I had gotten back I figure that Jace and I were close. Well that's stating the obvious right there, isn't it?

I sit down in a chair, but the room remains silent. What exactly is happening? I'm about to say something but Maryse beats me to it.

"What do you remember, Clary?" Maryse asked, earnestly.

I take a big gulp of air and I recalled my memory. When I finished everyone was staring at me intently. Some of their expressions showed pity, sadness, and some I couldn't even find a name for.

"Oh Clary," I hear Isabelle whisper. What does she mean by that?

"I need to report this update to the Silent Brothers along with the Clave," Maryse said suddenly.

"Why the Clave?" Mom asks, surprised, "what would they need to know about what is going on?"

"For one, Clary was attacked by an unknown demon and we don't think any demon can cause amnesia. Secondly, we need the Silent Brother's help. It's an urgent matter if the Silent Brother's need to get involved. The Clave does not like us poking around in matters behind their back. One way or another they would find out. Best to tell them now rather than keeping it secret and them finding out," Maryse explained.

Mom thought about this for a minute before nodding, " then tell them. Maybe they could help."

At that note Maryse leaves the room in a rush.

"I think we all need a vacation," Isabelle says, getting up from her chair and stretching.

Everyone else in the room nodded. Without another word we all exited the room. I suddenly feel tired. I guess getting that memory, and THEN having to explain it took a lot out of me. I'm not sure why, but it did. While everyone heads off into another direction I head towards the rooms.
