Chapter 34

Maya's POV

Lucas dropped me and Kenzie off at his place after school and then took my car to meet Farkle at Topanga's Bakery so they could work on a project together. Kenzie and I didn't any homework tonight so we decided to have a dance party together. No one aside from Riley never knew it but aside from art being my passion I also loved to sing and dance. Lucas's mom had a chrome cast hooked to the TV so put it on Today's Hits via Pandora station application on my cell phone. We were having a good time and I was even showing Kenzie some dance move. We really got into it when "Can't Stop The Feeling" by Justin Timberlake came on. 

"Oh I love this one! Come on Kenz give me your hands." I said as I walked over to her. 

"Me too!" Kenzie said as she put her hands out. 

We started dancing together and she started giggling. We had got so into the song that I didn't even hear Lucas come in. 

I let go of her and started dancing on my own. She started t copy what I was doing "I'm teaching you good aren't I?" I said to her. 

"Yes! You're a good dancer." she said. 

I began swaying my hips and singing along "Ohhh it's something magical, it's in the air, its in my blood its rushing on."  

"You sing good too, Maya." she said and she started doing the same dance moves as me. 

"Thanks baby! There you go you're doing it better now!" I said as she started swaying her hips more like I was. 

"Got this feeling in my body." she started singing and I giggled. 

"I'm such a good influence." I chuckled. 

Lucas POV

Farkle and I met up for our project after school at Topanga's Bakery. It really didn't take us long to do it and once done I got some goodies for Kenzie and Maya then headed back home. I know it had only been a few hours but I hated being away from her. Its been almost a month since that happened with Nate but I was still anxious at times being away from her. Maya is such a strong girl though because she has come leaps and bounds from what she was when it first happened. I was walking into the apartment when I heard Justin Timberlake's song blasting. I put the bag of goodies in the kitchen and was walking down the hallway into the living room but stopped at the door way when I saw Maya and Kenzie dancing. Maya looked so hot as she swayed her hips to the music. If Kenzie wouldn't have been there I'd a shoved her into a wall and kissed her.  

I watched as she continued swaying her hips and singing along "Ohhh it's something magical, it's in the air, its in my blood its rushing on."

"You sing good too, Maya." Kenzie said and she started doing the same dance moves as Maya which caused me to smile.

"Thanks baby! There you go you're doing it better now!" she said as she started swaying her hips more like Maya was. She had caught on pretty quick.

"Got this feeling in my body." Kenzie started singing and giggling.

"I'm such a good influence." I heard Maya chuckle. 

I decided this was the perfect time for me to interrupt,  "I don't know about that." I said and Maya swung around so fast to look at me that she almost knocked poor McKenize over.   I smiled at her as she started blushing. 

Kenzie put her hands on her lips and scowled at me "Way to ruin our dance party, Lukey Ranger Rick!" 

"See this is why your are not a good influence." I said as I walked over to them.

Maya started giggling "Good one Kenz!" She said as they high fived each other. I just rolled my eyes. 

"Your goodies from the bakery are in the kitchen." I said causing Kenzie to take off running into the kitchen. "Eat it in there though!" I yelled as she ran away. 

"Yay!" Maya said but I grabbed her arm before she could take off. She looked up at me with a confused look on her face. 

"You aren't going anywhere." I said as I pulled her to me. 

"What do you mean? I want..." she started to say but I cut her off with a kiss. 

I felt her smile into my face and give into the kiss. I cupped her cheek and pulled her face closer to me. I nibbled on her bottom lip and she opened her mouth allowing my tongue entrance. I could have sworn I heard her softly moan in to my mouth and knew we needed to pull away. 

"Now you can go get something." I said and she just rolled her eyes. 

"A little bit of a warning next time." she replied. 

"The opportunity arose that Kenzie wouldn't be in the room for a few minutes so I took advantage of it" I shrugged.  

"Sometimes I wonder about you Huckleberry." she giggled "She goes to bed in an hour then it will just be you and I." 

"Not like we can do anything because she could walk in." I retorted. 

"I can't with you. It's never stopped us before." she replied and shoved me backwards on the couch before straddling m lap. 

I was so surprised that I didn't have time to think or react because her lips were on mine. I needed to stop this before things got heated. I felt her grab my face deepening the kiss and my hands immediately went to her ass. I felt her grind into me and by this point I had lost all train of thought. However her breaking away brought me back to reality. 

"I'm out." she said and got up off of me and walked off into the kitchen. 

Maya POV

I laughed silently to myself because i knew that what just happened in there would drive him crazy the whole night. I figure that will give him something to think about next time he wants to be a smartass with me. He should know by now that I always win.  I walked in and Kenzie was eating her sandwich and drinking a juice. 

"Yours is in the bag, Maya." she exclaimed as I walked in. 

"Thanks, baby." I said as I sat down beside her. 

Kenzie and I finished up our food then I got the bath water going for her as she needed to get a bath tonight. She liked to play for a little bit so I went out to see Lucas. I was making my way into the living room when I felt Lucas's arms wrap around me and lift me up putting me over his shoulder. I started giggling when we entered his bedroom. He shut the door behind us and threw me down on his bed. I guess this is what having a quickie was like.
