Sing It For the World

Chapter 29

~Carson~

"What's your problem?!" I say as I grab Mikayla by the wrist. I had gone out after her while leaving Lily with Lizlee. Mikayla had turned but looked everywhere else except me.

"Nothing. Don't you have a bay to take care of. Oh and on the way a date with memory lane!" She snapped and then started walking again.

"Is that's what this is about? You're jealous?" I asked in disbelief. She crossed her arms and looked annoyed. I'm just glad she wasn't crying. Lizlee would have been crying if she was in this situation.

"How could I not be?! I try being nice to your niece and once Lizlee comes she hates me even more! Your cousin didn't even like me! She looked at me as if I was a slut! Judgemental much?! Yeah pretty much!" She raged. I sighed as I thought this through.

"Lily doesn't hate you. She needs time to know you and as for my cousin well she's like that with a lot of people. Also you shouldn't be jealous. I don't like Lizlee like that anymore." I try reassuring her.

"I know and I'm sorry but please leave me alone for a minute." She requested and I nodded as I walked away slowly. I walked back to the dorm and when I got there Lily came running to me. I smiled at her and picked her up.

Once Lizlee noticed I returned she left in a hurry. What can I say Lily can be a handful. Ten minutes after Mikayla returned and smiled at me. Then weirdly Lily came running to her and begged to be picked up.

"I'm sorry." Lily apologized sweetly.

"Aww it's okay sweetie." Mikayla hugged her and just like that they left me out of it. Then Lily whispered something in Mikayla's ear and she left once again but this time with Lily. She didn't even tell me where she was going!

I was just tired and needed my cousin to come back soon since we have school tomorrow. After an hour of moping around bored Mikayla finally returned but without Lily.

"Where's Lily?!" I exclaimed.

"Relaz will you? She's with your cousin. I was walking when I bumped into her and took Lily back. And let me tell you it wasn't done nicely." She explained and then left to her room since it was already dark. I went into my room as well and went to sleep.

The next day at school was stressful. Especially in choir. The teacher had us practicing our vocals for the competition. He also made us stay after school which didn't give me much time to hang out with Carson.

The other classes were the same so I wasn't worried about that. So far we have had no projects for any of my classes which I was glad for. The whole week Carson's cousin has been shooting me daggers and it didn't help when Angela was there doing the same.

Jacob, Lizlee, and I would have to stay an hour extra to practice. Apparently Lizlee wasn't getting a solo like we thought but she had to sing a duet with Jacob. He had the best voice in the class for males. I gotta say I really loved his voice. Yes I am admiring his voice. Anyways besides that I was the only one singing the solo while the rest of the choir class sang background vocals. So much for not wanting to be center of attention.

Finally as the weekend came I was excited. Lizlee and I were going crazy since we were going to England. She was taking her camera and this time I couldn't blame her. I mean come on it was England! We definitely had to take pictures right?

We were at the airport and Carson's cousin was busy talking with Lizlee about how she would love it. She still hated me though so I stayed with Carson throughout the whole time. We were waiting for the people to check our tickets and so we can get on.
