"Hmm..."

"We have a party to attend and see its already four. Let's get ready. "

"No. I don't want to go. I want to stay like this."

"Manik..."

"No nah. Please I want to be like this only. I don't want to move and you also don't move." He said in a babyish tone and pouted lips, with a innocent eyes looking at me. Pleading to get want he demanded for. I sighed looked at him. He smiled sheepishly as he got want he wanted.

He hugged me. His whole weight was on me. His head buried in my chest which was making it hard for me to stop my rapid breathe as I could feel his hot breathe on the valley of my breast.

I started ruffling his hair because  he loved whenever I ruffled his hair. Sometimes he acts like a small baby. Throwing his tantrums. Cribbing over things but he is only my baby because all his tantrums, cribbing, babyish talks are only exclusive for me and no one else.

"Manik." I screamed.

Manik got up with a worried face. We both had fallen a sleep in the same position for two hours that to in the office.

"What happened? Are you fine?" He asked cupping my face.

"Manik see its 6. At 8 the party will start. How will I get ready in such a less time? I haven't even selected my dress. I need to reach home. Take bath." I was continuously blabbering.

When I felt a pair of luscious lips sucking my lips. Manik had cupped my face and starting kissing me.

I responded back after sometime pulling him closer by his neck. I  completely forgotten about the time And my worry.
Only he had the power to make me forget everything. Anywhere. Anytime.

We broke the kiss breathing heavily.

"Why are you getting tensed when I am here."

I just raised my eyebrows in confusion.

"Come with me." Saying this manik held my hand and took me to a door attached to his office.

He opened the door. I widened my eyes as I saw a luxurious room inside. I looked at him and he just chuckled at my expression.

"Don't give me that look. Its just that no one knows about this room. Due to over work I sleep here itself. I don't go home that's why I made this room and  now only you know about it apart from me. "

"Here are your clothes. Choose whatever you want. Its all yours." Said this he opened a wardrobe.

"Have you gone mad or what. These many clothes that to for me. There was no need of it. Why did you take so much of trouble for me." Manik interrupted.

"Shh!! Never say that. I only have you nandini. Who I can spend my money on. With whom I can do anything and everything I want to. So never call yourself a trouble for me."

Tears started rolling down my eyes and I just hugged him.

"Nandini was happened. Why are you crying?" Manik asked wiping my tears.

"Nothing."

Manik didn't even force me after that because he knows I'll open up to him when I feel like.

"Okay. So let me pick up a dress for you." Saying this manik picked up a red dress for me. Simple yet elegant.

"I'll change and come."

I was going to go to the washroom when manik pulled me towards him and kissed my forehead. I closed my eyes to feel the moment. To feel his care. Concern. Worry.

Then he rested his forehead on mine while I started crying silently. He wiped my tears without moving apart, cupped my face and said.

"Nandini I will always be with you no matter what. I will always be there for you when you feel low, when you want to break down. I'll always be there to support you. To catch you. I will never let to fall." Manik said looking straight into my eyes.

I was not able to control anymore. I started crying loudly. Hugging him as tight as I could. Even he responded to it with the same force.
