I pushed myself more into him as soon as I heard the sound of a broken vase.

I turned towards the other side and saw not just Aliya but Navya and Mukti also standing beside her with anger evident on their faces.

I looked at manik who was already looking at me. He smiled then leaned down to kiss my forehead before turning towards them.

"What the hell is she doing here manik?" Aliya shouted.

"She has come home Alia. A home where she belongs. This is where she has always belonged." Manik answered calmly. His hand slid on my waist and pulled me closer.

"You are wrong manik she never belonged her and she will never belong to this family." Navya retorted.

"She is my family. She is my mate. So as long as I belong to this family even she does" Manik shrugged his shoulders casually.

"But we are never going to accept her?" Navya spoke.

"It doesnt matter to me." Manik said and held my hand and started walking.

"Of course. After getting your mate why will family matter to you who have supported you for so many years" Mukti said.

"You guys also very well know whom you will prioritize first, your mate or family so it will be better if you guys don't interfere in my life like I do. Let's go nandini." Manik replied and  started walking again holding my hand.

We entered into manik's room which had a Royal and classy touch.

"Manik I am sor-" before I could complete manik pressed his lips on mine and started kissing me hungrily.

"Don't you dare say sorry as you are not to be blamed." Manik whispered and rested his head against mine.

"But-"

"Shhh" He kept his index finger on my lips "I need you nandini. I love you. Isn't this reason strong enough for you to stay back?" He asked looking into my eyes.

I encircled my arms around his neck "Yes. Its a very strong reason for me to stay back. Not just today. Not just tomorrow but forever." Saying this is caressed his cheek and smiled at him.

He instantly smiled back. I kissed his cheek. "I love you demon."

"I love you angel." Saying this he carried me, twirled me in his arms saying lots of "I love you's" and all I could do was giggle in his arms and kissed his cheek for every 'I love you of his'.

"You know After your death nandini. I was broken, depressed, devastated. I wanted to die"  Manik spoke with pain clearly vivid in his voice looking outside the window.

I went towards him wrapped my arms around his waist, back hugging him with my face pressed on his back. I didn't want him to recall our past as it will give him nothing except pain.

"Manik you don't need to-" before I could complete manik pushed me. Parting me away from him. I gasped and looked at him.  I step back looking at his blood red eyes and anger overpowering him.

"Manik!!" He pulled me towards him with ferocious eyes. "You need to know" Saying this he pushed me towards the wall with all his weight upon me. I hissed as my head hit the wall pretty hard.

He grabbed my hair in his hand and pulled it making me hiss in pain. I looked into his eyes which were filled with anger "You need to know nandini. You need to know. That when you leave me I am at my worse. You need to know that when you leave me I am worth nothing." He shouted but suddenly his hold on me loosened and his eyes became vulnerable and watery. "You need to know that when you leave me my life is worthless." He said resting his forehead on mine. "You need to know that when you leave me I am nothing. You take away my everything with you." We both ended up crying.

I cursed myself for leaving him alone.

I cursed myself for making him suffer.

I cursed myself for making his so vulnerable.

"Manik look at me" Saying this I cupped his face and made him look into my eyes "I am not going to leave you manik. Not this time. This time we are forever. Manik and nandini are forever." I whispered in a smoothing voice caressing his perfect jaw.

He hugged me tightly and started crying out loudly. "Never leave me nandini. You have no idea how I have lived without you. These hundred years were like hundred thousand decades for me"

"Shhh" I pushed him more into my neck and started kneading his hair and kissing it time to time to comfort him. "Shhh. Everything is going to be okay" I muttered "You will be fine. We will be fine. This time we will survive it together." I kissed his neck pushing him more into me.

I broke the hug and pulled him towards the bed. I made him sit down and handed him a glass of water. He drank without uttering a word.

I stood between his legs and started caressing his hair. He looked at me with defeated eyes. I bent down and kissed his forehead. He hugged me hiding his face in my stomach.

"After you left I had locked myself into a cell for almost 55 years."

I gasped.
