Nandini pov

I freed him from the iron chains and made him sit on the couch. I sat next to him, removed his sweaty T-shirt and threw it away. I removed my blouse and asked manik "You don't mind me sitting on your lap, do you?" He held my hand and pulled me closer to him. "Never" Saying this he patted his thigh as an indication.

I sat on his lap, making sure I don't hurt him with my legs on either sides. I started wiping his sweat with my blouse. Tears were continuously rolling down my cheeks. Manik held my chin, made me look at him. "Don't cry. I am fine." Saying this he wiped my tears. His body was totally exhausted and weak.  He tried suppressing his pain.

I hugged him tightly

"I am sorry"

"Why are you sorry?" He asked with frowns on his forehead.

"I know all this is happening because of me. You are suffering because on me."

He denied nodding his head as he was to tired to open his mouth and voice out his words.

"Don't lie manik. All this suffering, this pain is because you confessed that you love me before I knew who the real you are, isn't it??" I spoke loving, softly. I cupped his face, making him look into my eyes, caressing his right cheeks.

"That time, I couldn't see you in pain nandini." A lone tear escaped his eyes. I wiped his tear and kissed his cheek.

"And you think I can see you in pain, really?" My voice choked, hurt and pain were clearly visible in my eyes.

Hurt that he didn't trust me enough to tell me about this.

Pain seeing him in this condition.

His looked at him with apologetic eyes and guilt.

I traced my fingers on his forehead softly, looking into his eyes. My hands automatically made its way towards his neck. I rested my left cheek on his forehead. He wrapped his hands around my waist pulling me closer. Both of us sighed together, with the satisfaction of being in each others arm.

But it didn't last long.

Manik's grip on my waist started to increase second by second in a choking one. I looked at his face and saw him pressing his lips hard against each other, his breathing become heavy, sweat was clearly seen all over his face.

"Manik" I cupped his face.

But he didn't respond but continued breathing heavily, pressing his lips even harder than before.

"Manik. Manik look at me."

No response.

I hugged him and whispered near his ears. "Hey! Hey! Shhh. Its okay. You will be fine" saying this I slowly started unclenching his fist, which he had clenched it in a stone tight grip. I started whispering sweet nothings in ears to calm him down.

"Nandini" I finally heard his voice. A smile broke on my lips but was replaced with frowns on my forehead soon after, "I am sorry." And before I could ask or understand anything, I felt a sharp pain on my neck.

"Aaahahhhh" I screamed as loudly as I could. Tears started rolling down my eyes. I tightened my grip on manik's back as the pain was becoming unbearable.

"Manik leave me. Please." I pleaded him and tried to push him. But he pulled me more closer and deepened his fangs into my neck.

"Manik please leave me. Please" I pleaded and pleaded until I fell unconscious.

Manik POV

Shit!!

Shit!!

Shit!!

What the fuck did I do!!

Shit!!

"Nandini! Nandini! Look at me" I spoke immediately after removing my fangs from her skin.

I cupped her unconscious face "Nandini wake up. I am sorry. Please don't do this to me. Please. Please get up. Nandini" I pleaded but she didn't listen to me.

I immediately picked her up and left for me room.

"Abhi! Cabir! Dhruv! In my room now!" I yelled as I was walking to my room.

I made nandini lie down on the bed and made her wear a blouse.

"Manik what's wrong?" Dhruv asked as soon as he entered.

"That is what I want to ask you people. What the fuck is wrong with you people? Who the hell told her where am I?" I yelled at them.

They kept starring at each other.

"Answer me got damn it"

"Me" as soon as these words come from cabir's mouth, I pushed him towards the wall and held his throat. My eyes had turned blood red. "Why? When you knew it can cost her life? Why did you tell her?" I asked in a cold voice.

"Because I couldn't see you suffering. And it all happened because of her" he spoke pushing my hand away.

"No its not happening because of her. I choose this not her. She didn't even know who I was at that time. And now because of you I lost her forever. I will kill you." After saying this, I punched him hard on his face. His lips started bleeding.

"What the hell is wrong with you manik?" Navya spoke rushing towards cabir. "Don't forget cabir have been with you through every thick and thin of your life.You want to kill cabir because of his girl."

"Yes I want to kill cabir because of this girl. This girl is my life. I am alive today because of this girl. Cabir is alive today because of this girl. All of us are alive today because of this girl. If this girl wouldn't have sacrificed her life years ago, all of us would have been dead. This-"

"Manik nandini is still breathing." Abhi announced leaving all of us in shock.

"What?"

"Yes she is still breathing."

"How is that possible?" Aliya asked in anger.

I felt like murdering her then and there but I didn't want to dirty my hands by touching her.

I went towards nandini and held her one hand as abhi was holding her other one and started caressing it.

Abhi can see those things of future which are bound to happen. Which no one can change it.

He closed his eyes and spoke "Nandini is alive but will not wake up till one month." Abhi opened his eyes and looked at me.

"One month" I widened my eyes.

How am I going to life without her till one month?

How am I going to survive?

"Ya. She needs at least one month time to heal. But you should consider yourself lucky. In such situation the female demon always dies. No one can save her. But you demon survived it."

"Obviously she is an angel after all. She had to survive" Dhruv spoke and winked at me. I chuckled at his statement. And looked at nandini.

"My angel" saying this I brought her hand close to mine and kissed her knuckles.

"She will be up in some time."

"Man....ikkk"
