"Thank you so much Mr Malhotra for coming. It really means a lot to us." Mr Kapoor said shaking Manik's hand with a genuine smile on his face.

"Thank you for inviting us to your party." Manik said in a very polite tone and a smile on his face.

There are many more things which I love about him and trust me the list will just go on and on if I start telling.

"Thank you for coming Ms Murty." Said Mr Kapoor looking at me.  He forwarded his hand.

"Its an honour for me sir." I said and smiled at him taking his hand which he forwarded for a shake hand.

"Please make yourself comfortable and do let me know if you need anything " Said Mr Kapoor as he had to attend other guests.

"So do you want anything to drink?" Manik asked me when no one was around us.

"Yup. Let's go." I said. I needed something to calm myself down.

This was the first time I am attending business parties and that to of Mr Kapoor's. Who's name is tagged among one of the richest people in India with Manik being on the top.

The most handsome. Hot. Dashing.  Young billionaire in India.

That day is not far when he will be known as the richest man in the world because of his hard work and  the rate at which his business is growing.

We were about to go to the bar when Harshad came to us with a wicked smile on his face.

I got freaked out with his sudden appearance and held manik's arms with mine, pushing myself more into him as I didn't expect to meet this moron this soon.

Manik looked at me and then at Harshad and back to me. He kept his other arm on mine. He assured me through his eyes that I am safe with him and nothing will happen. I just smiled in response.

"What's up manik. How are you." Harshad said with a smirk on his face.

"How can I be fine Harshad after seeing your useless face." Manik said with his all time famous smirk and attitude to which I giggled slowly looking down.

"Whatever" Saying this his eyes shifted towards mine.

"Hi nandini. You are looking very hot in this dress. I must say nice choice." Harshad said shamelessly checking me out. I just hid behind manik to avoid his crude look on me.

"Harshad you better behave and dare you came close to nandini or comment anything about her or on her." Manik said in a low angry voice which could be only heard by three of us.

"Why manik. Is something going on between you and your PA that you are so possessive about her or something which I am unaware off. Or is she your night pass time. You know what I mean. Working in your office at day time and at night in your bed I suppose, after all she is ur personal secretary." He asked shamelessly.

I felt humiliated. Disgusted by his words. I was looking down trying not to cry as I was feeling pathetic and awful.

I was about to loosen my grip which I had on manik's hand but manik held my hand before it could slip from his.

"Harshad you better keep your mouth shut or I very well know how to do it. Regarding nandini, well it's non of your business and you don't have any  right to speak anything sick or disgusting things about her." saying these things manik pulled me from behind, beside him and held my hand intertwining it with his.

"She is the most beautiful girl and  has the most pure soul in this whole world but unfortunately brainless, dimwit people like you can never understand it. Let's go nandini." He held my hand more tightly with his.

"And you better stay away from her and not a word against her. You very well know what I am capable of and to which extend I can go to. " Manik warned Harshad as we walked pass him.

My eyes had become watery seeing manik fighting for me. For us. His small and sweet confession made me forget about what Harshad told about me. It had  filled my heart with happiness which cannot be defined.

We were going towards the bar area when I spotted a room and pulled manik towards it. I knew I need to calm his inner soul as he was angry and pissed off.

I locked the room once we were inside.

"What the hell nandini. Is this the way you drag someone. Let's go. And what is this. Where the hell have you brought m..." He started shouting at me. I knew the reason why so I just went near him and  slammed my lips on his to shut him up.

God! How much he talks!
