"Now can we stay like this" He asked.

I nodded with a smile "But let's go home please. I promise at home I will stick around you the whole time."

He looked at me confused " You are always with me at home. Why this promise then?"

"Manik I didn't mean my home. I meant yours."

I felt manik's arms tighten around my waist and before the volcano erupts, I spoke to calm him down
"Manik I promise I won't vanish from your sight even for a second. Forget about vanishing I won't even leave your hand. Promise. Please take me home. Please"

"Shhh nandini. You can come home. Why did you think I will deny taking you along with me?" Manik's brows rises.

"Because-"

Shit!! This is gonna be embarrassing.

"Continue" He pushed me to speak.

"Because I thought your house will be dark, deserted, broken palace types like those houses they show in movies. Monsters and demon roaming all around. So I thought you won't allow me to come along." I answered looking down.

"What are you serious you thought like that." I tightly squeezed my eyes due to embarrassment while manik cleared his throat and spoke again. "Well let me tell you whatever you thought is true. I do live in the environment which you just described"

"Manik-" I was again going to nag.

"Listen nandini. I didn't deny. I will take you with me and I am there to protect you. So just calm down."

"Really?" I smiled widely.

"Yup" He claimed.

"Yeyye! Finally I will see your home, where even I belong." Saying this I captured his lips for a soulful kiss for our new start.

I glared at him angrily and shrugged his hands from my shoulder and started walking towards his house. Which is a fucking gorgeous villa and beautiful beyond anyone's imagination.

"Arre nandini. Listen nah" Manik said pacing up with my speed and put his hand around my shoulder pulling me closer towards him.

I glared at him. "You know I just wanted to remind you that I am a billionaire and a modern demon. Staying in those broken haunted villas will spoil my reputation. Don't you think?" Saying this he shrugged his shoulders.

I gave him a whatever look "And one more thing" Saying this he held my hand and pulled me in a back hug. He whispered near my ears "Personally i don't think those bed will be able to take our hard jamming."

I looked at him in confusion. "I mean what if the bed breaks" He stated with a amused face as if it is the most important thing in the world.

" What are you talking about?" I claimed folding my hands across my chest.
