Silently, we followed Daryl into the next building over, following the trail of blood. "Merle? You in here?" Slowly, we moved through what appeared to be an office building. "Had enough in him to take out these two sumbitches one-handed. Toughest asshole I ever met, my brother. Feed 'em a hammer, he'd crap out nails."

My eyes dart to Daryl and then back to our surrounding, feeling a bit anxious about the whole situation as I walk beside Glenn."Any man can pass out from blood loss, no matter how tough he is," Rick stated and I couldn't help but nod in agreement with him.

We walked into a new part of the building. Checking every part for the missing member of the group. "Merle!" Daryl yelled, making me shoot him a glare. Rick, of course, nudged him with a hush.

"We're not alone here." Rick reminded him as we crept around the corner of the doorway. "Remember?"

Daryl, on the other hand, didn't like the idea of any of this. Being quiet while looking for his brother didn't seem to sit right with him. "Screw that. He could be bleeding out. You said so yourself." I couldn't help but laugh a bit under my breath at that.

We came around the corner into the kitchen to see the burners on full blast, a belt on the counter, and blood absolutely everywhere. What hit us first was the strong scent of burning flesh. "What's that burnt stuff?" Glenn asked as we looked to the stove.

I cough into my jacket sleeve. "Skin," I tell him, looking to the scene before me. "He cauterized the stump."

"Told you he was tough," Daryl says to Rick. "Nobody can kill Merle but Merle." He told Rick.

Rick then shook his head. "Don't take that on faith. He's lost a lot of blood." Rick states and I sigh along with Daryl.

"That didn't stop 'em from bustin' out of this death trap," I said, looking to the shattered window that was big enough for him to get out from.

"He left the building?" Glenn asked walking up. "Why the Hell would he do that?" Glenn questioned and that brought me to question it myself.

Why would he leave in such a hurry?

Since Merle is gone our next move is to get the guns, hopefully finding the redneck in the process. We decided to hold up in an office for the time being. "You're not doing this alone," Rick told Glenn.

I nod my head in agreement with Rick. "Even I think it's a bad idea and I don't even like you much," I roll my eyes at Daryl's comment.

Glenn shook his head, convinced that this "plan" of his was going to work like a charm. "It's a good idea, okay, if you just hear me out. If we go out there in a group, we're slow, drawing attention. If I'm alone, I can move fast. Look." He starts drawing out a map of the street. "That's the tank, five blocks from where we are now." He pulls down one of those big paper clips. "That's the bag of guns." He places down a crumpled sticky note. "Here's the alley I dragged you into when we first met," Glenn points to one of the allies. "That's where Daryl, Luna, and I will go."

Daryl and I look right at him. "Why us?" Daryl questions, me nodding in agreement to his question.

Glenn looks at us, the answer already geared up. "Your crossbow and bow are quieter than his gun. While Daryl and Luna wait here in the alley, I run up the street and grab the bag." He explains.

Rick frowns a bit, "You got us elsewhere?" Rick questions Glenn and his seemingly amazing plan.

Glenn, of course, nods. "You and T-Dog, right. You'll be in this alley here." He points to another Alley.

"Two blocks away? Why?" Rick asks him, confusion still all over his features.

"I may not be able to come back the same way. Walkers might cut me off. If that happens, I won't go back to Daryl and Luna. I'll go forward instead, all the way around to that alley where you guys are. Whichever direction I go, I got you in both places to cover me. Afterward, we'll all meet back here." Glenn explained while I was looking through the different desks and drawers.

"Hey, kid, what'd you do before all of this?" He asked and I smiled a bit.

"Delivered pizzas. Why?" He asked and we just shrugged.

"You got some balls for a chinaman," Daryl said as we walked down the alley and hid behind a dumpster. I shook my head, chuckling as I loaded my crossbow.

"I'm Korean." Glenn corrected him.

"Whatever."

Glenn takes off after that. We crouched down and it was the sound of footsteps that caught our attention. Daryl jumped up first, despite me telling him not to.

It doesn't seem like he was going to be listening to me anytime soon. "Whoa, don't shoot me! What do you want?" A male voice asked, making me stand up as well.

I curse under my breath, glance back to the redneck before looking back at the gate. "I'm looking for my brother. He's hurt real bad. You seen him?" Daryl asked, making me growl under my breath as I looked back at the pair.

This kid, out of fear, yells at the top of his lungs. "AYUDAME!" I flinch as I looked to the walkers, who haven't taken interest in the noise yet.

I grip my bow and arrow tighter as Daryl keeps scaring the kid. "Shut up!" Daryl growled at him. "You're gonna bring the geeks down on us. Answer me."

I turn my head back at him. "Daryl!" I hissed, looking to see a walker glance our way.

"Ayudame! Ayudame! Ayudame!" He yelled before Daryl hit him with the crossbow. The kid was struggling and out of nowhere, two men came running in. I hit the skinny one while the bigger one went and pushed Daryl.

The skinny one, on the other hand, had a bat and sent that straight to my ribs. I grunted, throwing a punch back before I took a punch to the face and a good couple swings to the ribs with that damn bat.

Then Glenn came running in the alley with the bag of guns. "That's it. That's the bag, Vato." The skinny one said, making the bigger one run to get Glenn. "Take it! Take it!" He yelled as I struggled to fight back against the skinny one.

As if on cue a car drove up to the gates. "Get off me! Get off me!" Glenn yelled as the bigger one, who now had an arrow in his ass.

"You best let me go off me!" I yelled despite the blood that was running down my face from my nose. I struggled in the guy's arms as I was pulled towards the car. Panic seemed to set in now as I tried to break free from his grip. "DARYL! DARYL!" I yelled out before I was forced into the back of the car with Glenn.
