Never in my life did I think I'd be so happy to see Glenn's face, even if he's beaten up. "Are you okay?" Glenn asked as he pulled off his bloodstained shirt and handed it to me.
I slipped it on and nodded my head. "Beaten to all Hell but I'll live."
"We need to figure out a way out of here. I thought Rick would have come looking for us now." Glenn said with a sigh.
I shake my head, rubbing my right shoulder. "Rick ain't coming. He lost his shit. He's unstable. Daryl will probably come looking for us, but I don't know if he will ever find us here." I told Glenn.
He got up from his feet and put out a hand to help me get up. We both cringed in pain as I pulled on him to lift my broken and bruised body up from the floor. He walked over to the dead walker that he killed earlier and pulled off its whole arm.
I looked away as I heard the bones in the body crack and break. He pulled out two halves of the arm and handed me half. It was sharp, sharp enough to kill someone. It was the sound of footsteps that caught our attention. They were coming down the hallway outside the door and we both got in position.
Glenn had the left side while I had the right side of the door. We were ready to attack once they entered the room. They wouldn't ever see us coming. I held a finger up to my lips and listened for them as they got closer and nodded to Glenn when I heard them put their hand on the doorknob. The door opened. "Now!" I yelled and Glenn and I leaped out and attacked them.
Unfortunately, once more luck was not with us as Glenn was pinned by Merle and I had two guns pointed to my head. "Let him go!" I yelled at him as he stood up and kicked Glenn in the ribs with a grunt. We were dragged back into the room where Merle kicked the back of our knees, forcing us to kneel before them. My body ached and I let out a cough as they moved our arms in front of us and duct taped our wrists together.
Merle held a smirk on his face as he circled us. His men paced the room, almost silently begging him to let them kill us right now. They got the information they wanted, and now we're of no use to them. There was no "bring us back to our people" there never was. They were lying and now they needed to get rid of us.
They placed brown sacks over our heads and I knew what was coming. They were going to execute us. Merle picked me up by the arm and another man grabbed Glenn. They moved us out of the room, once again. I couldn't see where I was going but it hurt like a bitch.
As we went I heard something being thrown down onto the ground and roll on the concrete floor. A small, weak, smile came to my face as I knew what it was. The smile was gone and replaced with the pain that went through my body as Merle let me go when the smoke grenade went off. I fell to my knees for a moment before I was picked up by someone and I panicked. The person was running and I was struggling to get out of the person's grasp.
After a bit, they stopped running and the sack was pulled off of my head and my eyes were met with Rick, Oscar, and a woman that I have never seen before. Glenn was sitting up against the wall next to them, exhausted. I looked up to see that Daryl was the one holding me.
I let out a shaky breath, burying my face in Daryl's shoulder. Oscar cuts the tape from around my wrists before moving to Glenn. "How did you find us?" I question as Daryl sets me on the ground beside Glenn. Every part of my body hurt, even sitting was a pain in the ass.
Daryl kneels down in front of me. "How bad are you hurt?" He asks and I wince as he probes my beaten body.
"I've been worse. Where did that woman go and who was she?" I ask, making Rick look around the room before peeking out one of the small windows.
