"Okay, let's get the other car in. We can park it at the West entrance of the yard." Rick told us as he scanned the prison yard.

"We should also load up these corpses, and burn them," Daryl suggested, also looking out at the prison field where the dead bodies of walkers that we killed littered the ground. There were flies, and maggots beginning to infest the remains of the deadly dead.

I got out of the truck that I had just been driving. I had made a short drive around the perimeter of the prison this morning to make sure everything was okay. The door shut behind me, and I joined Rick and Daryl who were walking to meet up with T-dog. "It's gonna be a long day," T-dog said as we approached him. He wiped the sweat from his brow and looked over to all of the deadly mess before us.

My eyes sweep across the courtyard. "Where are Glenn and Maggie? We could use some help." I asked.

Daryl looks to me before pointing. "They're up in the guard tower," He tells us.

"The guard tower? They were just up there last night." Rick questioned.

I let out a laugh. We all looked up to the main guard tower of the prison grounds. "Glenn! Maggie!" Daryl yelled up to them.

The door opened to the guard tower and Glenn stepped out. He was half naked and fumbling with his belt. "Hey..." Glenn awkwardly called down to us.

"You coming? We could use a hand..." Daryl called back. We all just laughed and shook our heads. Those two love birds tried to get together every little chance they could get.

"Yeah, us...we will be right down," Glenn said before he went back into the guard tower to finish dressing.

I headed back to the main gate of the prison to move the car that Rick asked me to move earlier. "Hey, Rick..." T-dog called after him.

I looked back to see the two prisoners, Axel, and Oscar slowly walking through the courtyard of their cell block that was littered with bodies. We had given them that side of the prison, and it was their responsibility to clean it up and get rid of the decaying bodies.

It didn't look like they were doing a good job and handling the situation. In fact, it didn't even look like they had started working at all. Rick, T-dog, and Daryl walked over to them. I figured Rick was just going to talk to them and tell them that they need to start cleaning up the bodies and burning them.

I hopped into the car and put the key in the ignition and turned it, but nothing happened. I removed the key and tried again. Nothing happened. The car was dead. How could that be if I drove it earlier this morning? I popped the hood and got out, walking around to the front of the car and look for any problems. I noticed that the battery cables had been disconnected.

Who disconnected the battery cables and why? Still confused, I walked around to one of the other trucks that have a tool kit in the back. I searched through it, to find a wrench and the appropriate socket to fit the nut on the terminals.

I returned to the car to start putting back on the negative terminal to the battery. I looked up to see that Rick and the boys were no longer talking to the inmates. They were working on gathering wood for a fire to burn the bodies with. They came in through a small opening in the fence that they can easily get through.

Looking back at the prison, I saw Herschel coming out for the first time since he lost his leg to a walker bite. He was up and hobbling around on crutches. The girls stood by him and watched after him in case he lost his balance.

I carefully attached the positive terminal to the battery of the car and shut the hood slowly so it wouldn't slam and attract walkers. I got back in the car and turned over the engine and drove it over to the west side of the prison where Rick had asked me to park it. This way no matter what we go, every side of the prison has an escape vehicle.
