Cato and Clove - Our story

Dance? - Clove

It's been 2 weeks since we came, the dance is next week. I've had my birthday now I'm 12. I've meet lots of Cato's friends we have a big group now. We started training. We got to choose what we wanted to do. I chose to through knives, it came pretty naturally. Alex, Meg and I are having a sleepover, just to get to know each other better.
"Ohh let's play truth or dare" Meg says
"Ok" we answer
"I'll go" Alex says
"Umm Meg truth or dare" Alex says
"Dare" Meg answers
"I dare you to go into the corridor, knock on all the doors then scream wake up because I'm sexy and I know it" Alex says
"Good one" I laugh and high five her
Meg takes a deep breath and runs out into the hall knocks on all the doors and yells I'm sexy  and I know it then comes running back in bright red. When she does we collapse in laughter and listen to the people outside. We hear a lot of what the and who the hell and oh my god. 
"Let's keep playing" I suggest
"Meg you go" Alex says
"Clove truth or dare" she asks
"Uhh truth" I say I don't want to do what Meg did
"Who was your first kiss?" She asks
"Cato" I say quietly
"Ohh tell us the story please" the beg
"Fine" I huff and start "we had just told each other that we were going into the same hunger games and I said that I could never lose him, then I craned my neck towards him and kissed me. It went for like 5 seconds the I pulled away and said ok the he said that he's been wanting to do it for a while"
"Aww so cute" Alex gushes
"So do u like him?" She asks
"Maybe a little bit but we're going to fight to the death" I say sadly
"Because he definitely likes you" Meg says
"Really" I ask
"Really" they both say
Then my phone buzzes meaning I have a message
"Who's it from?" They ask
"Cato" I answer
Ca- Hey
Cl- Hi
Ca- meet me in the garden in ten.
Cl- ok but should I be scared
Ca- idk
"Cato wants me to meet him in the garden in 10" I say
"Omg we don't have long" Meg gushes
"For.." I ask confused
"To get you ready" she finishes
They dress me in a white crop top and a black skirt. I grab my phone and I'm pushed out of the door by my friends.

I walk to the park and it's beautiful. It's decorated in fairy lights and look magical. I gasp when I see Cato holding a white piece of paper with one word. Dance?. I nod my head unable to use words. Then I find out how to speak again.
"Yes. Yes Cato a thousand times" I say
He throws the sign into the bush and walks up to me.
"I also have something else to tell you" he whispers
I nod.
"I have loved you ever sense I saw you. Clove your perfect. But nothing is made to stay when your born to die, but I love you. If our fates weren't so wrong and beyond fixing then we may be different. But for the time we have left I want to love you for as long as I possibly can. So Clove Sevina will you be my girlfriend?" He gushes
I can feel the tears building in my eyes. That was beautiful.
"Yes" I say "but I don't want to reck our friendship, if we break up we go back to being best friends no hard feelings"
"Absolutely" he says
Before I know it his lips crash into mine and his hands go around my waist and my go around his neck. His lips feel soft and warm. I feel sparks go off in every direction. The kiss is sweet and lasts a lifetime. When we pull away I lean my forehead on his.
"I love you so much Cato Marcus" I say
"I love you so much as well" he answers
Everyone comes out and claps, shouts and whistles. I couldn't be happier.
"You where all in on this weren't you" I ask
"Yep" says jay
"Totally" Alex and Meg say
"Definitely" Jackson one of Cato's friends says. We call him Jack
"Thank you" I say
That night Cato and I walk back inside hand in hand.
"Sleepover in the PR" jay says and of course jack being the psycho that he is started jumping up and down.
"God calm down jack" I almost scream
"Ok so we'll get our stuff and meet in the PR" Alex says
