"Don't go."I dropped my gaze on the ground and spoke calmly, "Let me go."
"Taehyung" his girlfriend approached us angrily, "Stop that right now!"
She aggressively shook him by his shoulder before she hauled off and pushed me away. Not being able to keep my balance, I fell on the ground.
"Jihye!" Taehyung attempted to help me up but was stopped by his girlfriend.
Without paying any more attention to him, I stretched out my hand to grab my crutches which were lying about one and a half meters in front of me, out of reach.
When I was about to give up, someone suddenly held out their hand for me.
Taking a closer look, I realized it was Donghae, the well-built guy Taehyung and I saw at the supermarket a few weeks ago, a.k.a the thug who asked me out eight times.
"Do you want me to carry you or why are you taking so long? I could if you want" he grinned.
"Giving me my crutches would be enough, thanks."
He kindly did what I asked him for and helped me standing up.
Afterwards he directed his gaze at Taehyung whose arm was claimed by his girlfriend, "Tell your little friend to apologize immediately. Otherwise you'll have to count the cost for what she did."
"Donghae" I turned to him, "It was an accident. I don't know them," I watched Taehyung from the corner of my eye, "Neither of them."
He was motionless, his expression blank.
"Don't lie to me. That guy hugged you!" Donghae said grimly as he rolled up his sleeves.
I sighed, "Do as you please. I'm going." I turned around and started back, knowing he would follow me if I left.
"Y-Yah! Wait for me! Let me walk you home!"
We left, leaving Taehyung and his girlfriend behind.
After a while of silence Donghae sighed.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"I might not look like it but I think a lot these days."
"What are you thinking about?"
"You."
"Ah, please don't do that again" I whined, already knowing what he was about to do.
"Just think about how good we'd look together!" he said excitedly as he threw his arm around my shoulder.
"I'm extremely livid right now. Stop that bullshit before I take my anger out on you, Donghae" I sighed.
"I wanted to chance my luck" he removed his arm immediately.

Park Yeji
"Good morning" I forced a smile as I entered the office of Taehyung's step-mother.
"Yeji, sweetheart! How is my future daughter in law doing? How are your parents?" she greeted me with a bright grin, "Come, sit down!"
I took a seat in front of her desk, "My parents are fine."
"That's good to hear. I had an appointment with your mother a few days ago and she told me how much you missed Taehyung. How are things going between the both of you? It's been a while since the last time I saw him, too."
"Actually" I lowered my gaze, "there's something that's bothering me these days."
"Oh dear, what is it? Was he rude again?"
"No, nothing like that. I wanted to surprise him a few days ago and when I arrived at his place, there was a girl lingering around him."
"A girl?" she rose an eyebrow, "Do you know her name?"
"He kept on calling her Jihye. That's all I know about her.
Her expression got stern, "Don't worry, dear. I'll take care of everything so you don't need to tell your parents."
She pressed a button on the telephone on her desk and spoke, "You need to do some research for me."

Four days after the incident with Taehyung's girlfriend; after school, in the library
Seung Jihye
"How do I solve this?" Joohyuk asked me confused, showing me an arithmetical problem.
After explaining him what to do, two girls approached the both of us, "Hey Jihye, did something happen?"
"Uhm, what do you mean? My leg?" I asked.
"No, Taehyung. He hasn't come to school for four days. Is he sick?"
"Why do you ask me?" I gave it my all to speak calmly.
"Because he was always with you. Do you know anything?"
"No, I don't" I sighed.
"Anyways" one of the girls bit her lower lip, "Could you give this to him?" she handed me a pink letter adressed to Taehyung.
I gave it back to her, "I'm sorry. I'm not planning to see him. Give it to him yourself."
They left after giving me irritated looks.
"Did you see that?" I turned to Joohyuk and asked him bewilderedly, "Just when I managed to stop thinking about what happened."
"You did?" Joohyuk asked, not believing me.
I cleared my throat, "Let's change the topic. How are things going with your future wife?"
"Oh! Do you want to see a picture? I found one on her online profile" he hummed while taking out his cellphone.
"Let's see if she's really as beautiful as you claimed."
I felt anger building up inside of me as I looked on the display.
"What's wrong?" Joohyuk asked as he noticed my changed expression, "Are you jealous?"
"That's her, Joohyuk."
"Yeah, I know. That's her; my future wife" he grinned brightly.
"No" I clenched my fists, "That's Taehyung's girlfriend!"
