This chapter is important for understanding the feelings and thoughts of the female protagonist.

"Since you're hurt, how about medicine, Minyeongie?" the woman asked the little girl.

Minyeong immediately cracked a smile and nodded excitedly, "I want strawberry!"

"Strawberry flavored medicine?" I asked a little curiously.

"Medicine is another word for ice cream, isn't it, Minyeongie? the woman kept on smiling and spreading positivity.

Minyeong nodded.

"Since you took care of our little troublemaker here, let me treat you to some ice cream as well!"

"That's really not necessary" I responded politely.

"Tell me which flavor you want or I'll get you just anything."

"That's really cute" I chuckled, "then I'll go with strawberry as well if it's okay."

"Of course it is. It must be hard walking with crutches all day. You rest here while we get some ice cream, young lady."

"Thank you very much" I thanked the kind woman with a smile.

As both of them left for the ice cream shop around the corner and I was alone, I was reminded of my surroundings again.

I listened to the wind.

Wondering where the wind probably already had been, Taehyung came to my mind. What if the breeze which was sweeping around all these leaves in front of me was the same that just embraced Taehyung a few moments ago? Could it be?

One side of me was hating myself for still thinking about him while the other one was begging the wind to stroke his hair in my stead and take care of him.

Was I being naive for letting my feelings change that easily? For letting my heart turn anger and disappointment into sadness and desire as time passed?

All these thoughts were causing a huge storm in my head, letting a few tears escape from my eyes.

"What are you thinking about so deeply, young lady?" the sunshine-like woman came back, handing me my strawberry flavored ice cream.

"Thank you" I forced a smile on my lips as I looked up to her, wiping away my tears.

She sat down next to me, "What's wrong, dear?"

"I think it's an allergy" I cracked her a smile, "Where's Minyoung?" I attempted to change the topic.

"Her mother picked her up earlier."

"Her Mother?"

"Oh, you must've thought I was her mother, I guess?" she chuckled in her positive way again, "I'm just her nanny."

"You get along so well, I thought you were mother and daughter."

"Thank you, young lady, but let's not change the topic here. You seemed lost in thoughts. It's obvious that something is bothering you. What's wrong dear?"

"I can't believe I'm actually sharing my thoughts" I whispered to myself.

I took a deep breath, "There was a person whom I trusted a lot. A person whom I told things I barely told anyone. This person had a heart made of gold. It was astonishing how much this one person could brighten up my mood with just a single smile or one of their silly jokes" a smile made its way on my face without me intending it.

"However, it turned out that all of these sentiments were one sided and this person didn't respect me as much as I did. There were things which were never mentioned before and hurt me a lot."

She placed her hand on my shoulder, "Do you think that person intented hurting you? Did they try to comfort you?"

"Kind of, but they messed up."

She gave me a look of commiseration, "On our way to get ice cream, Minyeong told me all these beautiful things you told her. How it's okay to cry but it's important to stand up again. In my opinion you have two options now. Judging from the way you talk about this person, it seems that they still have a lot of impact on you. Either you go and talk to this person, letting them know how you feel and maybe let them explain themselves as well for you to clear your mind and being able to stand up again, or you decide trying to stand up by yourself with a heavy heart and just forget this person, if you can that is."

I kept quiet, letting everything sink in.

"You feel uneasy, don't you?"

"I do, a lot in fact" I admitted, smiling sheepishly.

"I'm an expert in knowing people and recognizing good hearts, young lady and I'm sure of having recognized another one right here in front of me" she smiled, spreading her positive energy all over again.

I couldn't resist but just smile along, "It's been a while since I met such a kindhearted person."

"Yeah? I could say the same about you, young lady" she chuckled, "How long has it been?"

"The last time was when I met the person I mentioned before."

"Oh? I'd like to meet that person sometime" she cracked me a smile, "By the way, what's your name, young lady?"

"My name is Seung Jihye."

"Don't tell me! Are you perhaps the niece of Im Seonmi?"

I was a little taken aback, "How did you know?"

"I'm living in the apartment next to her and she always keeps on mentioning what a cutie her niece Jihye is and how happy she was that you were coming to visit her this weekend."

"This must be fate" I said amazed, "What's your name by the way?"

"My name is Son Jangmi, as in Rose."
